I think the shape is actually quite retro, what with it being high waisted as well as the tapered leg opening, and it could definitely skew towards a cute summery beach '50s look with the right shoes and jewelry. But I dunno, '50s means different things to different people, and when people mention that as being their I usually think of those ladies who like to dress like Dita Von Teese or something.

I'll say Yay! to the bag in Post #264. It looks very nice to me unless you're eyeing something a bit more tough for a handbag. My inclination would be to go with the red handbag if you're considering this one. I wouldn't go with anything skin-tone unless we're talking shoes.

NAY. I think fake leather is always easy to spot, so I would buy something in real leather or fabric.

depends on what you need the most I think the cut out collar shirt looks great, so if you need all things equally that is what I would buy.
