I thought that it was a really great premiere, the show has finally roped me back in because it was becoming stale over the past few seasons even with Nicole winning last time. This was perhaps the first time I went into the season not knowing who made the final cut because I haven't been reading up on the pre-show stuff.

• Alasia - I don't see model, but she's hilarious. She may have a personality glitch (according to the previews), but I'll wait to see who is the wrong regarding that fight.
• Alexandra - indifferent
• Angelea - Terrible makeover, but points for at least reading up on fashion.
• Anslee - As Mr. Jay pointed out she looks terrible when she tries to model, but it's something that can be worked on. I think the haircut ages her.
• Brenda - A little mature in the face, the haircut was a mistake.
• Gabrielle - She's my early favourite. Not entirely modelly, but she's got a cute unique look. Also points for knowing a current, non-VS model. While I loved the red hair, I think that she can work the blonde too.
• Jessica - Looks like a Christina Aguilera/Jessica Alba hybrid which kind of reads as "pretty girl not a model"
• Krista - Really looks mature in the face and it doesn't help that she keeps reminding us that her chances of becoming a model @ 24 are slim and that this her last chance. Her desperation is highlighted by her feeling threatened by Alasia merely because Alasia has a similar look but really no modelling potential.
• Naduah - Gorgeous, but I'm bit iffy - like I don't know if she'll deliver in the long run.
• Raina - There's so much going on with her features, it might not translate well on film (kind of like Kara last season).
• Ren - indifferent
• Simone - Might be another pretty-girl-not-model, but I do so more potential than the others that fit that category. Points for not losing it when they shaved the side of her head.
• Tatiana - "Hot girl" who thinks she could be a model which was underscored by her choosing Megan Fox as her "supermodel". And now she looks like Tahlia after that makeover.

Wow unexpected. glad to see she's still hanging around. I thought she was one of the few contestants with the height, body and quirky face to actually have a chance at being a serious real world model.

I'm happy about Gabrielle being eliminated but very surprised at Naduah. Her picture was crap though so I understand why she went. I still love Raina, that girl's just got it she reminds me of Charlotte Casiraghi mixed with Emily Didonato

Ugh! I hate the fact that Gabrielle was sent home first. Filler like Angelea, Anslee and Tatianna should not have outlasted her. The panel is on smoking some bad stuff. Angelea's stork pose was terrible.

Jessica so did not have the best photo from that first shoot. I do agree with the FCO given to Raina, however.

^ Oh yeah I definitely agree Angelea needs to go, pronto. I also love how ALT is like a big classy slap in the face to all Tyra's critiques lol I predict this season is going to have a lot more "Dahling's" than "Gurrrlll's" lol

I love how ALT shot them down about Alasia's photo by saying he would hang it in his salon. I don't agree that it was a good picture, but it was hilarious just the same.

Naduah seemed crazy to me. Did anyone notice how her accent is sometimes super strong and sometimes hardly there? Plus all her stories... she just seemed very "off" to me.

Also I changed my mind about Ren . She is soooo annoying. I hate her voice and all she does is whine and cry and make an excuse; "I'm too intelligent for this." It's America's Next Top Model! What did she expect?! It's not exactly a serious competition, but at least if she wins she can make some money, she should make the best of it or go home.

Soooo my favorites now are Jessica and Simone... I predict the final two being Jessica and Raina.

This show is really such a joke. It's obvious that ALT doesn't take it seriously either. It definitely seemed like he was just being nice when he said he would hang Alasia's terrible photo in his "parlour" (edit: "sal-on") because all the other judges hated it.

And Angelea... why?

so far am rooting for ren, krista, raina, simone, anslee and alasia though i have a feeling alasia is trouble and unfortunately her attitude translates to he rpics

I actually like Alasia. Yeah she's loud but at least she's real. Does taliking loud automatically translate to being trouble? WTF did Ren think was gonna happen when she told Alasia to STFU? You start something, be prepared to back it up. Why cry about "all the fighting", when you started one in the first place. Has this chick not seen the other 13 cycles? Grow up and go home.

Jessica ain't winning because she's a mom. TPTB won't put a mother on SEVENTEEN.
My vote is for Simone or Raina.

Ren's starting to get annoying, but i cant help liking her style.
I'm rooting for Raina so far.
i dont like Brenda.. the short hair looks terrible on her imo.
dont like Anslee or Krista either.

Unfortunately in most cases it does, it means that someone is trying to impose their opinion on others...I havent watched it though thats just what i saw in the pics so I wont state it as a fact.

Ehh...that's not been true in my experience. However, if it was, that is not true in this situation. Alasia was a completely different room from Ren and interacting with the other contestants.

Is Alasia loud? Yes. Living with her would make me want to stab myself in the ear with an ice pick. However, the teenagers on my flight to Lisbon were loud too. Yet, somehow I found a better way to tell them to keep it down than, "Shut the F*** up."

Just going along with all the conversation on Alaisia, personally I think she could be fun to hang around with, but she is ridiculously loud.

I also agree with the previous posters, Ren could have had more tact in trying to get Alaisia to be quieter. I liked Ren in the first episode but her attitude in the second was a complete turn off.

no, but talking loud - constantly - is pretty f annoying... I always turn my computer on mute...All the yelling and her voice gives me a headache...

I noticed that in European "Model shows" the models are always much more calm... America's next top models always scream and act like 14 yr old girls.. I still prefer the show though - because they have better models, photos and are more professional!
