No, it will be back to one hour starting next week. They cut the premiere episode by 1/2 hour to debut a new reality show. That 1/2 hour was tacked onto the second episode.

I noticed that in European "Model shows" the models are always much more calm... America's next top models always scream and act like 14 yr old girls.. I still prefer the show though - because they have better models, photos and are more professional!

Several past contestants have interviewed that the producers 'encourage' them to scream like morons. Multiple takes are done until they feel the contestants show enough excitement.

with the whole Ren/Alasia situation..

Ren could have respectfully asked Alasia to quiet down instead of just saying "STFU", so Ren certainly had the rudeness coming to her..
but then again Alasia could have been more mature about it instead of yelling and screaming like a banshee.

i find Alasia unnecassarily loud.

I think Alasia overreacted and Ren was rude in how she asked her to quiet down.

I don't get Alasia at all. I think she's just there for the drama because to me, she does not look anything like a model.

I liked Naduah and I think Ren is quite cold about everything (i mean about her modeling career) and she is sooo bored all the time. I like Raina, but still, i don't think there is THAT unique girl there..looking forward to see the next episode

I think that they made a poor decision by eliminating Gabrielle. Her photo was nowhere near the worst (I still can't believe they thought so highly of Angelea's awkward pose) and I think that she had more going for her in person than several of the others.

Maybe it was in her best interest since, from her interviews, it seems that she has a real interest in modelling. If Nicole and Jaslene can work at 5'7", then I think Gabrielle stands a chance and she just needs to get out there.

WTF did Ren think was gonna happen when she told Alasia to STFU? You start something, be prepared to back it up.

I completely agree. I hate how she was acting all "I'm over this" when Alasia was in her face -- you started it! And then to whine about the fighting/drama afterwards? There's something really off about Ren.

I really can't stand when others are constantly shouting either but there's a better way to go about it then telling someone to STFU.

^Totally. I would want to jump out a window if I was around Alasia, but knowing the reaction she would give, "STFU" wouldn't be the words I would use to get her to calm down

I also don't think Alasia is a b*tch. She is loud but not mean. Too often on this show people start equating the two. As for her not looking like a model "whatsoever", I think that's a bit of an exaggeration. IMO her face looked beautiful on the Rachel Roy runway and she has the height and skin. ANTM has had much worse contestants.

Stlll though Simone for the win.

Ah...that makes sense... How stupid. The show would be so much better without that.
