Q1/ You rose to fame on America’s Next Top Model, What tips did Tyra Banks give you and was she as fierce in real life?
‘Tyra was super fierce!! She gave me some really good tips on how to do my make up’

Q2/ How do you feel you have been accepted by the fashion world?
‘Amazing! I have worked tremendously well since doing ‘top model’ and I feel blessed! My work has just ‘blown up’ and I am doing some really exciting projects, including the latest campaign for Evans.’

Q3/ You featured in the July 08 issue of Italian Vogue shot by Steven Meisel, groundbreaking for a plus size model. How did that make you feel?
‘There are no words to describe it! It was a dream come true. To be the first to do something like that, to be the first black plus size model in a shoot / issue like that was incredible. Working with Steven was amazing; we just had such a connection and a good vibe on the shoot. I feel that Steven really captured ‘me’ in the shots – the hair, the make up, the sultry look, I love those shots and it was a total honor to be in that issue.’

Q4/ What other models inspire you?
‘Tyra Banks, Beverly Johnson and Iman.’

Q5/ We hear that Jay Z personally asked you to model for Rocawear, how did that come about?
‘That was cool. He approached me and said ‘Yo girl can you make my plus size line hot!’

Q6/ You are featuring in the Evans High Summer 2010 campaign, which is your first British modeling campaign, what are your favourite pieces from the collection?
‘I love the maxi dresses. Particularly the ones that have lots of beading on. Evans is great for fashionable clothes. In the States it is such a struggle to find fashion above a size 10 (US sizes) at affordable prices’

Q7/ What is the one thing you cannot live without?
‘I cannot live without bra’s! As long as they fit well. These (points to chest) are one of my major assets, so they have to fit well!’

Q8/ What are your top tips on finding the perfect bra?
‘I tend to have mine made as I have a small back and large chest. I love bras! My advice is to get measured, lots of women wear the wrong bra’s.’

Q9/ What are your top tips on how to look and feel good?
‘Looking and feeling good all starts with you! Taking care of you, not just your hair and make up but your inner beauty. There is no such thing as ‘perfect’; working on accepting who you are is the best advice I can give. Never change what you have just enhance.’

Q10/ Loving your body is easier said that done. What advice do you have?
‘Most girls need to love who they are. Body acceptance is key. Everything should start with a positive.’

Q11/ What would you like to achieve by working in fashion?
‘Ultimately I would love to see more affordable fashion in larger sizes. I find that after a size 10 (US size) it is always such a struggle. Where does all the colour, youth and sexiness go when the clothes get bigger. I’m young, I don’t want to dress frumpy! Which is exactly why I like Evans – I can dress from my shape and my age. I would also love to walk down the catwalk at New York or London fashion week!’

the only thing I saw was at the restaurant I was at, the bartender was changing the channel and I saw him skim over ANTM, and Tyra was giving Raina her photo. I let out a sigh of relief even though the TV was on ANTM for less than a second.

oh lord seriously!? Shame.

Tyra really loves to try (keyword: TRY) to get us emotionally attached to these girls. Like how this is Krista's "last chance" and how she tried out so many times (she did right? I remember something in the beginning how she tried out for ANTM a lot) and how Angelea was a bad girl gone good. I swear, Angelea might as well change her name to Jaslene. She basically is doing the same thing. Gets eliminated in the semifinals of one season, comes back the next season and is all of a sudden "amazing". please.

Yes, they have. It's quite fast this time tho because I usually get spoilered before watching the show.

I'm pulling for a Raina win. If Raina comes in 2nd to Krista. I'd be mad but okay with it since some (keyword: some) of the runner ups in the past have more deserving. (example: Joanie, Allison, Chantal, Kahlen) but I hate to admit that Krista is growing on me. If Angelea wins, my remote will be flying through my tv the second Tyra goes "America's Next Top Model is.... Ang-"
