Boyfriend Jeans

I found these on yoox, if they didn't have a massive plus sign in red on the rear, I may have wanted to try them. From the front they look good.

I tried those on a while ago, but they were just too wide and long on me for some reason.

I like the Gap boyfriend jeans posted before. I actually like that they look like they could be on a guy - a lot of "boyfriend" jeans I haven't liked because they just look like slightly looser girls' jeans. I'd considered buying a pair of guys' jeans for a while, and I'm glad I can get the real-looking fit on something designed for women... but I don't want to pay their price, haha, so I'll see if it goes on sale ;) I'm thinking of just finding some slouchy, straight-leg jeans for a somewhat closer fit than real guys' jeans too..

I hate these jeans. It looks sloppy and barely anyone can pull it off.

What if, say, one's boyfriend were more of a trousers type? Would one sport the style but abbreviate the name to boy jeans, or wear boyfriend trousers, or encourage one's boyfriend to swap his trousers for your jeans? Which would bring about the complication of not having any boyfriend jeans of one's own to wear... Forget it, I think I'll go with tasteful lamé leggings from AA for my trend fix. ^_^

so i really want to find a god pair of "boyfriend" jeans, and my feeling is (seeing that i have no boyfriend at the moment ^_^ ) to just buy a pair of jeans from the mens section...

but im a little embarressed to ask an s.a. to help me find a pair. So does anyone have any idea how the sizes would translate? Im a 30 in women's jeans...

thanks :flower:

Most men's jeans are too large for women. I wear a size 30/31 in jeans and I think that translates into a size 9. 30 is usually the smallest many brands will go.

Really? I have a 29 1/2 inch waist and a 5 can fit me.

when I bought my levis 501s I got them at winners (like tj maxx in the us)...I just took a few sizes and tried them on. This time though I think I'm going to get a women's pair b.c I think the bum will look better....after a while the boy's pair didn't look too hot.

I would just try on a few sizes if you're not sure. If you're smaller, start with the smallest and if you're somewhere in between, maybe get a few sizes larger than the smallest one.

Sorry, this is probably no help at all

i'm wearing my "boyfriend jeans" right now...but i call them my "hot *** butch girlfriend jeans." They are actually old faded Gap jeans, and i wear them with my **** Frye harness boots.

i'm wearing these mens levis sta prest lately, love them:)

I love this trend, and it's not even about the appearance but the comfort of being able to BREATHE and slouch about in jeans; they won't replace my skinnies and straight leg jeans but I love them all the same.

i really like this look- i just want to find a pair that compliments me and looks cute, instead of making me look short and stubby. I'm 5'5...and under 110pds. does anyone have a style in mind (and from where) that would best suit me?

I have some old pair levi´s 501
I wear them with tight tees and barefoot around the house

What are "boyfriend jeans" exactly??? Is it a girl shopping in the men's department and buying jeans that are meant for guys?

I like these on tall girls. Not so much for someone petite like me.

i like this 'trend' for girls, but i must admit that i saw teenagers in italy wear jeans with this cut at least two years ago... and the girls who had that style generally did it very well. you don't need to be tall, you just have to have nicely cut jeans.

i like this pair. i get the same look fom classic fitting lucky brands one size to big.
