I like this. And as soon as my internet stops teasing me, I'll have a closer look. I love the layers, I think it's pretty. And I think it's the only 'floaty' collection from s/s 08 that I've liked so far
I'm not too keen on some parts of the styling though, So I think these pieces will look even better in the shops etc..

I'm grateful for all the pro-designer comments from the tfs regulars...thank you. Sometimes, I feel like giving up! Let's all give him a break - hopefully he will do for Chloe what NG did for Balenciaga, or what Raf Simons is doing for Jil Sander (which I was critical about at first but was willing to wait for him to find his own vibe...plus I really have a good reason to be biased, Jil Sander herself is alive and would have been the best designer for her own brand!). I'm also excited about Estrella Archs for Cacharel even though she doesn't even do prints, but under Clements Rebeiro, it has been stuck in a print rut. It will take a while, and he will bring his own take on Chloe. The first collection had a lot of influences, and these edgier looks have been translated into other collections, a good sign. That black zip dress has beome a cult status item!

It's definitely a more femenine look of the fw07...but it still not appealing to me

someone said up there, that the mood of the show changed, it looked like the girls came out of a concentration field, and that is so sad, i dont want ugliness from chloe, I can take it from prada marni and so, but please chloe...it has to be a cool happy girl

i really dont think CHLOE as a brand should be defined by pheobe's designs because it isnt HER brand.
If pheobe had her own brand, and she poulled somethign liek this, you would have a reason to be angry and say "ITS SO NOT PHOEBE"
but its CHLOE. Not phoebe philo.
so i really think all of this whining is stupid.

you can dislike the collection but dont dislike it because its not chloe. i realize the brand has a certain look or aestetic but CHLOE hired paulo...

Great collection! I love everything. I've been looking forward to Chloe the whole season. Love the mix of classic Chloe (S/S 05) with the new grungier direction
