Karlie and Gigi for Versace again? Ugh.

Dilone for Versace??? Yikes! I'm actually quite taken with her after that ID cover, but she's as ill-fitting as Karlie/Trentini/Lexi was last season. Too good for this brand!! This is the one brand where I don't actually begrudge the casting of Gigi. She matches the ott, trashy gaudiness of this Versace.

I know it has been speculated, but not confirmed about Greta, MCB and the latest Givenchy opener for the campaign, so I guess this confirms.

Chanel on Monday named Lily-Rose Depp as the face of the advertising campaign for its new perfume, No.5 L’Eau, which was created by in-house perfumer Olivier Polge.The perfume and campaign directed by Johan Renck are slated to launch in the fall.

Vanessa became the face of Coco while being very young so it's a kind of filliation.
They are trying to refresh the image of the original N°5. Eau Premiere is a great modern interpretation so i believe that this will be for an even younger clientele.

They are doing great perfume so it will be good as usual but it makes the choice of Gisele as the face of N°5 even more random even if it appeal to the american market.

They need to find a great, mature but edgy actress to represent N°5.

I don't mind Nepotism at Chanel. At least, their spokeswomen have some sort of talent.

Gisele was a totally random choice let's face it... She was totally ill-fitted for Chanel in general... but isn't Lily to young for this perfume considering the fact that the majority of women who use it are considerably her senior...

It's not N°5, not either the N°5 l'Eau Premiere (launched in 2007) but a new perfume N°5 l'Eau.
Until now N°5 and N°5 L'Eau Premiere had the same faces : first Nicole Kidman, then Audrey Tautou and last Gisèle Bundchen.
So who will be the face of N°5 and get along with Lily-Rose Depp ?

I would have love to see Lily-Rose the face of Coco. But I believe it's first about marketing priorities.

At Thierry Mugler, this is what they've done with the perfume Angel that was Jerry Hall's and now Georgia May Jagger's.

A bit meh at the news of Lily for a Chanel perfume. Doubt whether her face will shift units even if it is aimed at the younger consumer, but lets see. I'm more keen on the new face for N°5, because it's seriously time to move on from Gisele. It was a bad move from the word go.

She's a pretty girl but I'm not convinced with her as a model.

I believe Madonna recently went to dine with Marc Jacobs. Knowing how easy and desperate Marc is (in more ways than one!), I'd say a campaign is inevitable. If he does book her, she'll probably demand OG. Of course she might end up on Love as well. I'd actually like to see what she looks like through Sims' lens. And the collection seemed very dark, yet decent, so she probably won't look like 'mutton dressed as lamb'.
