oh, i totally asked for the complete series for christmas!
my mom couldn't justify the price...she's funny like that but i guess it's understandable...
instead i got the individual seasons 1-3...
bought season 6 today...
and will buy the rest whenever they go on sale (usually 15-20 each at target)...

my favorite episodes to re-watch are the ones about harvard/yale applications and such...
and the ones with jess, of course, especially when she visits him in new york!

oh, and i still haven't seen season 7
i actually didn't watch gilmore girls for a couple years, maybe after season 3 i stopped?...
but i started watching the abc family re-runs this summer...
been addicted every since!
and need to rent or buy season 7 asap!

That's exactly what happened to me! I used to watch long long ago during the 1st/2nd seasons, but then I just stopped.

Then, this summer, I watched the reruns on abc family like everyday!

I wanted to get the full series on DVD, but it was a bit much (plus I want to get the full OC series before that)

I'm pretty sure it was terrible, so I don't think you missed much.

Amy Sherman Palladino needs to get the cast back together for just one final thing. It all ended so clumsily...

I know. When I saw the spot with that phrase, I fully expected it to reveal itself as a geico commercial. I was sadly dissapointed. I don't like anything you can't parody. They took my job.

Gilmore, on the other hand, is much better. Watching it right now, quite contentedly. Or at least as contentedly as possible for a rerun.

I think Amy has some show in the works with Parker Posey and Lauren Ambrose, I'm not really sure when it's coming out or even if it's been picked up by a network yet...

Since I didn't watch the last season, can someone please tell me who Rory ends up with? I know Lorelai and Christopher get together, right?

^Lorelai ends up with Luke and Rory ends up alone. Considering the mess that Amy Sherman left behind before leaving GG for good, I don't think David Rosenthal did such a bad job. He just made a huge mistake by having Douche Bag and Lorelai get married. It left too little time for her and Luke to get together again (actually, one single episode ).

Yeah, and Milo Ventimiglia said the reason why he would never consider returning as Jess was because Amy Sherman Palladino left, and Amy was the one always wanting him to return to the show. I always thought that had Amy stayed, she would have brought Jess back. But alas...

At least Lorelai didn't for sure end up with someone other than Luke...

I've started to watch some episodes on e4 and it's a good show, just not my type. Some of the voices annoy me including Lorelai's mother and Paris, who sounds like Julia Roberts.

Gilmore girls needs some lovin!

I really really wish there was an 8th season, or at the very least a movie!! Has anyone else heard the statements made by Lauren Graham about her wanting to go ahead with a TV-Movie but she refuses to agree on paper until Alexis is interested in doing it!

I really really love and miss this show! At least I have my best friend to help me think I'm still watching it! She is Rory's double...sometimes! haha

A gilmore girls movie would be good but I think Alexis probably wants to break out from it.

My friend bought me some of the gilmore girl box sets, I love it. I really like the humour in it.
