hmmm. It's not surprising in a way but it is very milli vanilli. I think there are more clues about this on his blog as well. There could be so many people. An obvious one is britney spears. I'm trying to think b/c it would have to be someone who was very formatted and probably didn't do national anthems at football games and the like since he doesn't mention that S did promo materials, only albums and mixes for the world tour. It would also be someone who was very good looking as they would have chosen her simply on that basis. I don't know. I think I might stick with Britney Spears. Since I know that Jessica and Christina can both sing. And if it was someone worse, like Mandy Moore - who cares?

It's probably someone much older than those girls I'm thinking. They get too much exposure to get away with something like that, although Britney's last album didn't even sound like her it was so enchanced and overly produced. makes ya wonder....

Madonna would be a great guess because she rarely sings live (thank god) but he says her recordings for this supposed artist started in late 2000 which mean the artist probably made her debut in 2001 which clearly Madonna is not a candidate for.

I've been to the looney bin, and we've got to do better than old Star and People magazines. No, mental patients deserve personal visits by the nobody ex's, call girls, clubgoers, disgruntled former employees, chauffuers, cooks, nannies, etcetera, to whisper the gossip into their lunatic ears directly and exclusively. Thus having the scoop, you see, they'd have the keys to the asylum. We could pay them by the word to dish it.

It could be a savvy way to discredit gossip, actually, it'd be like, "Well, consider the source."

nope she's actually quite talented but you'd never know with the songs she puts out in the clothes she wears. Man this one is a toughie. How reliable is this source?

it is known that j.lo never sings live... the few times she has performed "live", even on tour, you can tell she's not actually singing... i've heard many rumors about this. and, she fits the time frame
