We can’t say anyone saw this coming. Lindsay Lohan — who may make her film comeback as Victoria Gotti in Gotti: Three Generations sometime next year — has allegedly thrown down the gauntlet at Blake Lively’s Louboutin-clad feet. Watch out, Blake: Lilo is after your career.

The struggling star told the New York Post (via Contact Music) that she wants roles in both Oz: The Great and Powerful and Savages, the two films Blake is currently attached to.

"I think the only role I could play is Glinda [The Good Witch]... I'll only do the movie if I can work with [James Franco]. We're, like, best friends,” Linds reportedly said about Oz. As for Savages, she’s got her heart set on that one. "That's the role I really want."

A preliminary hearing, in which testimony is heard and a judge decides if there's enough evidence for a trial, is set to begin on April 22.

in other 'news', the director of the Gotti movie has abandoned the project, and the producer is now looking for a new director.

Gotti: Three Generations producer Marc Fiore tells us Lindsay Lohan is in the final stages of negotiations for a role in his film starring John Travolta and Joe Pesci. Even better news for Lilo, she's on the verge of a multi-picture deal!
Fiore tells X17online exclusively:
"We're definitely very close to signing Lindsay. This will be part of a two picture deal we're working on for her. Our legal team has been hammering it out with her management team. And just to clarify, Dina Lohan is not involved with her getting this role. We're not negotiating this deal with Dina."
Aside from being close to landing the Gotti role, Lilo is the frontrunner to star opposite Chazz Palminteri in a movie called Mob Street. As for the plotline of the movie, Fiore tells us:
"Even though it's called Mob Street, the movie won't be a mobster movie. It's going to be a true story based on how the mob infiltrated Wall Street in the 90's. She'll be playing the wife of one of the brokers."
Nick Cassavetes has dropped out as director of Gotti: Three Generations, but Fiore says the split was a mutual decision. Find out what Fiore says about finding a new director ... after the jump.

"Nick is going to be doing his own project, so we agreed to release him from the movie. I don't have a short list to release yet, but we're in talks with several directors."

3 days? Not if she get's her way. Lindsay has petitioned the judge to delay the hearing because this Friday is Good Friday, and Lindsay claims to be a devout Christian and there is like stuff in the torah bible or koran or whatever which says stuff like that and stuff so yeah B)

The troubled startlet of Freaky Friday is pulling out a celestial trump card that could slow down the theft case she's currently fighting.

She's set to ask the judge to cancel this Friday's hearing because it's Good Friday, a Christian holiday that marks the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Believe or not, Lindsay plans to observe the holy day!

The 24-year-old former Mean Girl was raised Catholic, but reportedly converted to Judaism when she was dating girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

The postponement request was discussed last week during the meeting between Lindsay's high powered attorney Shawn Holley, Judge Stephanie Sautner and Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers.

While all involved agreed in principle, it's not a done deal.

"The DA wants Lindsay's lawyer to formally file the motion to continue the preliminary hearing," the source said.

Lohan would still appear in court on Friday but just to hear Sautner formally rule on the motion. If a new date is set, it's likely to be sometime next month.

Despite rumors that Lohan would plead guilty before trial, we're told Holley won't allow it.

If Lindsay is convicted of stealing a $2,500-necklace from a Venice Beach, Calif., jewelry store in February, she could face up to three
years in state prison.

Is it one rule for troubled actress Lindsay Lohan and another for all others?

That’s the question that has to be asked with the news that all cameras have been banned from the Mean Girls star’s court appearance this Friday.

It's a stunning development because Judge Sautner, who Lindsay will be facing, allowed cameras in the courtroom for fellow actor, Mel Gibson's plea on a misdemeanor battery charge just last month.

In addition, a well connected source tells RadarOnline: "It's the DA's policy that we will NEVER oppose having cameras in the courtroom, ever.

“The public has a right to see and know what is happening in the judicial system. There is a great deal of interest in the Lohan case, and it's too bad that the public won't have the opportunity to have access to the proceedings."

Adding to the controversy further, all of Lindsay's previous appearances in connection with the grand theft case - in front of Judge Keith Schwartz - had television cameras allowed in the courtroom.

The 24-year-old is due back in court for a preliminary hearing to ascertain if there is enough evidence to go to trial in her felony grand theft case.

Lohan is accused of stealing a $2,500 “one of a kind” designer necklace from a Venice Beach area jewelers.

Lindsay's hearing is scheduled for April 22 and it's anticipated that it could last 1-2 days.

As RadarOnline previously reported Lindsay's preliminary hearing could be postponed though because it's Good Friday, and all parties are agreeable to having the matter continued.

A final decision has yet to be made on whether or not to reschedule.
