She needs one of those hardcore Utah wilderness rehabs where they basically live wild for 6 weeks. Or jail. Everything in her life is so 'softly does it' instead of a big shock to the system.
Also, there are so many similarities between Lindsay and Monroe, none of which are good. I read "Goddess" a while back and couldn't help thinking of Lindsay.

^ You're right- she needs one of these boot camp sort of places off in the hills- not this Malibu country club she has been to before, where they say 'Lindsay you need to behave..." and then go out for a field trip to Beverly Hills...This is life and death at this point; look back at even this thread from a year ago- her deterioration is shocking, and not just physically...This is a medical emergency now- I hate her father and everyone speaking out now- where the hell where they they last year or two?? Stop talking and get her help, with or without her cooperation...

Dina Lohan has blasted her ex-husband, Michael, for claiming the family was planning an intervention to get their troubled daughter, Lindsay, to deal with her alleged (Ed. Fill in substance name...) use.
Furious Dina told Page Six yesterday: "I don't go -- like my ex -- on national television and make things up. He's estranged from Lindsay; he doesn't know what's going on in her life. Michael doesn't talk to her.
"I've had full custody of all my children for the last 10 years. He has been incarcerated for some of that time, so whatever is going on in Lindsay's personal life is our business. And for him getting paid to say things about her when he's five months behind in child support is wrong." She continued: "I can't change Michael to make him do the right thing -- that's up to him and God. But it is hurtful for a child for her own father, whom she has no relationship with, to say things in public about her like that."When we asked if Lindsay does have (Ed. Fill in favorite substance) problems, Dina, who sounded tired and emotional, said, "I have no idea what he is talking about. I can't comment on everything my ex says."
Lindsay was also hurt by criticism of her debut Ungaro fashion line. Dina said, "The critics can say whatever they want, but Lindsay is a genius."
She said that, despite her deal with the French fashion house, Lindsay would also be creatively involved in Dina's shoe line, to debut in May. But the name won't be "Shoe-Han." Dina explained, "We are not going to announce the name so every Google and MySpace buys the domain name. Lindsay is signed to Ungaro, but she will definitely have input because she is so talented."
Taking a final swipe at her daughter's detractors, Dina pleaded, "Leave Lindsay alone. Let her be a real 23-year-old. Let her grow, and let her artistic abilities flourish. Stop judging the Britneys and the Lindsays. They are very creative girls, and that is a gift from a higher power of God."

I meant in terms of their psychology, not worth or talent. Particularly the neediness and propensity for stalking.

Why did Mounir Moufarrige, Ungaro’s urbane, Lebanese-born owner, not fill the vacant position Ungaro left when he bowed out five years ago with a highly trained designer instead of an actress with a reputation for getting high.

OUCH! Its true, but the journalist keeps adding in that she hopes Lohan doesnt read reviews of the Ungaro show, what will Lindsay think if she reads that? And you know that Dina reads EVERY piece of press that comes out on her.

I find it disgusting that so many well-educated, hard-working and professional young people are having a hard time finding a descent job, when this unreliable and nutty trainwreck has a beautiful office, a position and money just for the (bad) media attention she is getting.

Dina telling the media to let Lindsay be a real 23 year old is ridiculous. No "real" 23 year old does some of the things Lindsay does, and I'm not trying to be negative because I'm really praying for Lindsay to get better because she is pretty talented, but Dina needs to stop justifying Lindsay's poor choices and while I am in no way a Michael Lohan fan, I think he has the right idea with this intervention thing. If we, who don't know her personally, sense that there is a problem with her then I'm sure it's more evident to her mother who should want to see her daughter doing better. Lindsay should come see me, I'll help her out anyday.

^ I, too, am no fan of Michael's, but he did work as a substance abuse counselor after he got out of jail, so I would think he has some understanding of the warning signs, which are pretty clear to those of us who have had the misfortune of being around it...

And: I have no opinion of Sam one way or the other, but it is hard to deny that Lindsay's career and her life have fallen off a cliff since she's been around... Not that Sam is the cause, necessarily, but she seems to be doing nothing to improve the situation and I doubt her late night party lifestyle are what Lindsay needs around her all the time...

^I have no opinion on Samantha Ronson either. My take on it is that, no matter how bad her stunt at Ungaro flopped, at least Lindsay hasn't been stalking Samantha around the globe the past few days. That's a start, I guess. She needs to get busy with something vaguely "creative" to get her mind off this crap.

thanks nemova. i actually meant to post that in this thread, but when i was looking back at her other pics, i had the fashion thread open and i effed that one up, lol. im going to go delete it since its in here now and def doesnt belong in the fashion thread. im surprised it wasnt deleted.

anyway, i was actually thinking ***please see tFS community rules*** but she isnt that bad in other ways, like her teeth and like no open sores and stuff like that. unless this is the first step. i think her latest pics show better skin? maybe she finally got a facial or microdermabrasion. i think it was letthemeatcake that said dina didnt age well and ali looks much older as well, so maybe thats part of it. either way, if she really is in a way where she needs help, i hope someone helps her. and, while, if she does need help, like ok, great michael for realising it, but announcing an intervention to a media outlet is not going to help matters. he needs to shut up and do something about it and stop trying to get press for something that could wind up a very bad situation.
