Lanvin for H&M (Update....Second Collection?)

wow, xionasy --- i must've literally been standing in line right beside you! haha. i was about 20 or 30 people from the front as well (in the guy's section).

Possibly! I don't think Vancouver even had the purple/blue shoes, or they probably had like 5 pairs, which is stupid. Same with the sunglasses, why would they only have like 15 pairs! Still pissed off about that There were quite a few women pushing around trying to grab whatever they could grab too. I had one woman trying to ask me to give her one of my bowties, I was like, !!!

i like that every campaign is different and see what works and improve the next collabo. there was a heavy internet presence and its interesting bloggers got items and celebrities like madonna did not. bloggers are more relatable and "normal".

i also approve of the queuing system. people just had to come in, get a wristband and didnt have to line up for 2 hours. 15 people at a time is less savage but the time constraint was panicking. the high demand is always going to be a problem but people that came in early got rewarded more. So coming early really is key!

an idea for the next collaboration: two release dates. a limited release for early adopters who are really big fans of the brand sign up for a VIP list so only they can go. The second one would be free for all and wide released. This way true fans of the brand can have others see their fan-ism by having it first. The second release could be of lesser quality as well.

UUMM Yes And NO, One Guy Was Paying For Stuff Then The SA Said NO To How Much He Had, SO He Stayed On The Men's Floor With TWO FULL Shopping Bags And His Lanvin Bag, I Think He Was Trying To Make Deals Or Trades Or Up Sell I Have No Clue… In The Bag I Saw At Least 3 Pairs Of Sunglasses Over 6 Bow Ties About Two Boxes Of Shoes.

I Honestly Think They Should Have Taken If From Him And Put The Stuff Back On The Floor, If They Can't Buy It Why Were The Allowed To Hoard And Keep The Stuff?

I Don't Know If Other Stores Were Giving Out The Shopping Bags But Vancouver Did And The People Filled Them Up Fast…

the rules were two of each style per colour. so some one could get 8 shoes, 2 in each colour.

i saw one guy when i went who had TWO PACKED SHOPPING BAGS of accessories heading to the register. he was being to lead to a rack of dresses and thought it was a personal shopping thing but no he was BUYING THE ENTIRE RACK.

Haha, I just love that people absolutely do not get this collab...I just read on a Danish so-called fashion blog (the blogger currently lives in LA) that she didn't get anything because she didn't like the unfinished hemlines and the exposed zippers... What the hell do you expect? It's Elbaz' trademark, it's what's makes Lanvin special (which, of course, she is oblivious to). People are stupid.

Reading about all this frenzy put me off at first but now that I see the dress I want selling on ebay for 800$ it makes me so mad!! So I'm going there tomorrow and leaving with my dress paying the original 200 euros so help me god!!

The dresses were beautiful and worth the purchase. I would pass up the shoes, the quality is questionable.
