The mood of the clothes: About a dozen drop-crop shorts, very focused on day wear with wooly and flat fabrics, except for the metallics at the end. Everything was boxy and cut away from the body — very sexless and pilgrim.

Accessories: Weirdly not many bags, but great triangle-shaped pilgrim hats with feathers, puffy jazzercise headbands and pilgrim loafers.

Crinkled lame are followed by draped silk dresses…

fashion today is ruled by how much press coverage and how much $$$$$$ you can make. style is not even part of the equation.

besides...anything either of them do will always be praised as genius and revolutionary by the press.

i think there are some interesting concepts in here. I think like miuccia, marc abandoned the idea of makingwearable clothing, opting instead for strong conceptual pieces.
he is selling art. I think the actual wearable goods are the bags, and the marc by marc line. the fashion show is just a way for him to get his idea out there--- like a music video does for a singer. its not how he gets paid.

so far, really interesting concept.
