OMG! I don't like the draping in the dresses, i liked some of the coats, but i don't get it, what's the point? and in my opinion some of the fabrics look cheap. I like Marc Jacobs, so this is odd.

i think there are some interesting concepts in here. I think like miuccia, marc abandoned the idea of makingwearable clothing, opting instead for strong conceptual pieces.
he is selling art. I think the actual wearable goods are the bags, and the marc by marc line. the fashion show is just a way for him to get his idea out there--- like a music video does for a singer. its not how he gets paid.

so far, really interesting concept.

the dresses with the cascading cleavage are the only rather graspable pieces.and it means a lot when one tries to grasp on cascades!

let's hope his genius blossoms at Vuitton in 3 weeks...
