Skinny jeans for men... Coming to an end?

ah, black slim jeans are my staples... perhaps not so skinny anymore but a nice slim line is always in for me, just cause I'm short baggy jeans don't look good on me

I wear skinny jeans but i pick them 4 size bigger, so its not thight at all, goes perfectly with any high cut dunk, pretty much has Kanye West wear them.

you can never go wrong with straight fit dark washes. as for the skinny.... i never got onto the trend, i never will, i'll stick to my baggies and my bootcuts. i just fail at looking unfashionable with them, so why bother?

I'm not a fan of skinny jeans, or perhaps they're not a fan of me. Nonetheless I prefer nice bootcut or straight fit. I have 6 pairs of bootcut in selvage denim that always get compliments at the office.

Ive never actually tried.

Ive gained a bit of weight over the past year. New Years resolution is to get back to my former skinny days. Maybe buying a pair of skinny jeans will give me some inspiration to lose the weight.

for me skinny jeans are seriously tapered things like cheap monday tight or april 77 joeys. slim straights can be tapered too but aren't tights-like. the slim/straight silhouette will and has been around for a minute. :]

I think that a skinny jean is far more flattering on the male body than a pair of baggy jeans. They actually provide a silhouette that is more true to form. I also like that they contribute to the recent androgenization of fashion. But even so, the straight leg is a classic that rides alongside the skinny in flatter points.

I think that even hip-hop culture has taken note to this as i have recently seen the hip-hop jean shrink quite a bit.

so yes, i think that the skinny is here to stay. just not the disgustingly tight, look i can see the outline of the head of your penis tight.

I really love the looser type of skinny jeans/pants but I don't find thight skinny jeans attractive on men. it (looks) a bit immasculating to me. It's really mostly a rocker type of jeans to me and I don't find them appealing either. I don't hate them, I just don't really like it. I've gotta say though, I hate (really) baggy jeans.

Where can you get APC? Cheap Mondays fade too quickly. Maybe I'll look into Levi's. I have a pair of riding boots that obviously I only wear with skinny jeans or my riding pants and I need a pair of skinnies that can hold up and not fade and look good in the butt as I actually have a butt instead of a flat nothingness I see a lot of guys who wear them have.
I run alot so my calves and glutes are muscular and I think to really pull off skinny jeans you should have Sid Vicious anorexic legs. I dont want to stop running hills so my muscle mass will go down (or have to starve myself) but I want to wear my riding boots and a pair of skinny jeans that look OK on muscled legs.

You don't look bad at all. Most hipster/boutique shops carry a.p.c. online. I say try the levi's 520-slouchy skinny. That'll solve the booty problem and I'm sure the legs will work too. They only go up to a 38 so they fit regular on me because I'm in between a 38 and a 40. LMFAO. Guys who say they are too big for them gap makes the morrison up to a 46.

I wear a 32 or 31. I had a look at the 520's and I think they're still a bit too baggy and would poof out over the tops of my boots. I really do need skintight I guess.
