cute! Love those studded heel Ditte and of course, the dress!

I stopped by the new Anthropologie today on Regent St. and spent the birthday money my parents gave me (yes, I'm in my mid-20s and my parents still give me birthday money!)
I got this lovely cardigan in this oatmeal color, which is super soft and very lovely on. Despite the shape, it's not bulky at all, which is something I usually struggle with.
I also got these curvy fit J Brand jeans in black. They fit really well but I may return them as I could get the same style in the US for cheaper. Not sure how well J Brand jeans last and if they are worth the money.

Thanks, Meg!

I love your new stuff, I wish I had an Anthropologie store here. :( And btw. I'm mid-20's too, and I also get my birthday money. :p ^_^

^All of my friends are in their mid-20's, and we still get birthday money (and presents), too. I don't think that's odd at all - kinda assumed it was normal. But J Brand jeans are really well-made and worth the money. I have several pairs and have never had an issue with them. :)

A couple of my friends own J Brand jeans and they swear by them. And they've each had their pairs for a few years now and they still wear them to death. And while writing this I am not sure why I have never invested in a pair :judge:.

Honestly, it depends on your build, but I really think AG's are better. And that seems to be the consensus between my colleagues and friends, as well.

I own a pair of each (I work at Anthropologie), and I wear they hell out of my Stevies, and in the 2 months since I've purchased them have yet to wear my J Brands to work (which I also had to purchase 2 sizes up in). If you can get your hands on them, the Stevies have a really great fit (I swear they are flattering to nearly every leg shape) and still feel as new as the first time I put them on 2 months ago.

I'm also personally a member of the J Brand fan club. I own several pairs and I think they are pretty timeless because they are very plain (unless you buy a pair of those ripped ones). I think they are pretty flattering too and they stretch out after a while so I'd def. not recommend sizing up. One pair I literally wore to death. They have a whole now in the butt area and the color washed out but I really wore them so much that I'm not suprised. If you want the color to last longer (darker) I would try not to wash them much.

Yes well usually I get my jeans from Gap because they fit quite well and they have zero styling on pockets, etc. which I prefer but often I find my denim wears through quite quickly so we shall see. The curvy fit are quite nice (esp. this style) because the rise is quite high and I have no gap at the waist, which is an achievement.

Anyway, back to new purchases - sergio, I know already gave you karma but still! Awesome Bal jacket
