gorgeous and huge! alexander mcqueen animal print wool/silk/cashmere pashmina...

i saw it in the mcqueen boutique in nyc this past weekend when i was visiting my parents. i would have bought it on the spot except the sales associate was kind of a douchebag... i would just brush past the scarves or touch one ever so slightly and immediately he would go up and rearrange them. these scarves are so expensive, i can't even get a close look at them?!! he made me feel like i had cooties or something...

after a vain search for the scarf on the internet i called the boutique on sunday to have one shipped to me.. i it.... a lovely lady picked up my call so i'm glad the douchebag didn't get credit for the sale!

beautiful pashmina kokopuff!

over the weekend, bought a striped tee and a midnight blue/olive pattern skirt (with an elastic waist, which I know sounds tacky but is oh so convenient for the ever changing new mom waistline). worn together here for a rainy day but should work great separately in the spring

Mistress_f, LOVE those glasses! Do you mind me asking if they're still available and how much? I think I need them in my life. And the scarf and keypurse are equally adorable. The scarf would look great with anything really - i'd put it with a blazer and plain tank top or grey slouchy tee.

i think the sunglasses are current season/continuative? i'm not sure, i saw them a while ago on christina ricci and had been looking for them everywhere
they have them on the site right now so i guess they're still available (under the tilia line)

i usually never post my purchases, since i am too lazy. but i can't remember the last time i was so excited about a purchase! it looks EXACTLY like the Balmain SS09 waistcoat. the pics don't do justice. even the colour and the pattern of the studs is exactly the same. i compared close up from the Balmain one to it. it is also mix of leather/jeans.

it's by a german "designer" called steffen schraut and it was on sale from 400€ to 200€. i felt so lucky when i saw it in store...
