UK Vogue August 2015 : Lara Stone by Mario Testino

The cat is so cute! It does make her look socialite-ish, especially considering she has her name on the cover, with a headline, and that there's probably an article about her or an interview... I guess it would have made more sense (and even been cuter) if the animal was her dog. The styling is much better than the Versace cover though, but I think I won't resist that Oasis-sounding "She's Electric".

So last August we had two covers with VB, one of which featured a dog and now this August we have two covers, one featuring a cat. Can't wait for the bunny rabbit next year!

I don't know how to feel about these covers, it's all British Vogue's go-to tools in one: Testino, plain background/red font, blonde cover girl, tacky styling. Although I do appreciate that the tackiness seems to be on purpose this time, at least they tried to have some kind of theme. I think I prefer the second cover, although the pose is a little awkward.

Lol, both are bad covers. Lara looks like she have bad posture, the pose is horrible.

My main problem is that shade of blonde against white background. Her second pose looks very uncomfortable.

Thanks for the review, Vogue28! This looks interesting in the sense that i dont know what to anticipate. Zoe, Max and Coco have a fairly similar aesthetic so it will be interesting to see whether it'll all look the same or not. I find it odd that they book Patrick and only publish 2 shots? Feels like such a waste of talent (and money). One must applaud Alexandra and her team for at least trying new photographers.

I hate to disappoint but there's no new adverts, that we haven't already seen in the issue. A new image of Kendall Jenner for Fendi and that's it (but guess the majority isn't bothered about that one).
