Lopez looks good however… if only she wasn’t hanging from that tree… choices.

I love this cover and her editorial. Not festive at all (as SJP story last year), but it's THE JLO, and I agree her beauty and skills are from a true supermodel. Anyone that isn't familiar to Vogue can't tell if this is new or which year was made because she looks the same (or better!) as 2 decades ago. And finally some latino face covering a big Vogue. Anna, Edward (even I adore him) and casting directors from fashion brands seems they forgot we exist too.

I agree. I like that it's Annie Leibovitz, I like that it's nostalgic of better Vogue days, but at the end of the day it brings me no excitement whatsoever. Goes to show how little effect this magazine has on me these days, it's a shame.

Mert and Marcus should have shot this, this seems to be Annie style indeed therefore super badly retouched.
I am not happy with the photo because it looks super fake, but I am happy to see JLO back on a Vogue cover.
I am sure Meisel would have done wonders with her for a British Vogue cover story.

JLO + Meisel would be like having a taste of paradise… But we're talking about Meisel in the Vogue Italia days, nowadays it would probably be a studio shoot and retouching to death, so if she ever has a British Vogue in a near future, I hope it's by M&M, she loves to work with them and it would probably be something better!

Why would they have Alex Harrington style flowy dresses on Jennifer Lopez? Years ago, you used to know what kind of shoot you were getting based off the stylist. Camilla was edgy, Tonne was classic Vogue, Grace was dreamy. Now they just throw random people together and hope it works.

I dislike the fakery of the cover. She is clearly not hanging from a tree, you can tell from her body, so why attempt to make it look like she is?

She looks beautiful as ever, but to be honest I defy even Annie to kill Jennifer's beauty. She has to be one of the most photogenic people around. Even when the editing and lighting given to her is bad, she pulls through.
