I don´t get all this rage. It looks cheap, but they´re just giving their costumers what they want. They tried to modernize the brand and it didn´t work. It´s all about the business.

It's all really pretty, and it's exactly what it needs to be to please Valentino's clients.

My issue though, is that if couture is supposedly relevant in today's world as an innovator and leader for RTW then.......

Damn, I just had to rethink my previous post.

It´s so cheap it hurts!!!!!!! It´s even worse than I expected.

I bet there´s not another season. At least with these two. It´s a TERRIBLE collection. The brand is dead.

The opening number is great but the rest is simply ridiculous

There are some very nice pieces and some not so nice pieces, but there's nothing new.
I wouldn't describe it as stale.

im not afraid to repeat myself here: overall it looks like a cheap knockoff of valentino garavani's work. especially some of the gowns are just horrible.

I think it seems a bit Valentino but I don't really think they've done a good work because they've copied a lot of things, it looks like it it were a mix of some previous couture collection (such as FW 07) and they haven't give to it their own point of view. Besides there aren't any special clothes...

I really have an enourmous archive about Valentino's work and it's truth that some coats and some pieces look a lot like his work, but I think that's not the point, it's not being a good designer, though I suppose they have been under a lot of pressure, because we all knew the consequences of giving to the brand your own point of view, and AF will know it much better than us... Poor of her, although I wasn't really fond of her work, I actually didn't like it at all.

now, with the full collection, it's official that this collection looks nothing like how couture collections should be. They tried, with the jewels and beadings, but they neither work as well as facchinetti or garavani. And that's probably the only best part of the show.
Others, looked downright cheap and poorly constructed as I already mentioned earlier. The stitches of the satin looks like they have been done by some guy on the streets to be honest.

Overall, objectively, the worst collection of the couture. WORST.
