someone should make a thread "High Fashion models going Victorias Secret".

There seems to be a double standard with models. VS models get criticised for doing HF, but HF models don't get criticised for doing VS.

HF models who do/have done VS (VSFS as well): Bianca Balti, Lily Donaldson, Jourdan Dunn, Lindsay Ellingson, Magdalena Frackowiak, Chanel Iman, Erin Heatherton, Anna Jagodzinska, Carmen Kass, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Sessilee Lopez, Catherine Mcneil, Arlenis Sosa Pena, Eniko Mihalik, Behati Prinsloo, Doutzen Kroes, Natasha Poly, Coco Rocha, Anja Rubik, Claudia Schiffer, Hana Soukupova, Jessica Stam, Julia Stenger, Lara Stone, Kasia Struss, Raquel Zimmermann

true enough! i really LOVE Daria Werbowy. i think she's just such a gorgeous woman and an incredibly talented model. but sometimes posters in her thread get all "ooh, Daria's too good for VSFS. she doesn't belong there. she's too high fashion. etc etc". yet, her contemporary high fashion top models like Lara, Natasha and Raquel have all done the VSFS. i can understand if she doesn't want to do it herself. Daria certainly seems more down-to-earth than the spectacle of the VSFS in recent years, so perhaps it's her personal choice. but i really doubt it's cause she fancies herself "too high fashion". LOL.

^ Yeah, I was just thinking the same. Very impressive campaign list. Also, Miranda`s and Ale`s cover/editorial list is very good, many Vogues there

Honestly, I tought Adriana would have been the one to snap everything in the fashion world this year. In my eyes Ale kinda stole her part (half joking, guys!). About Miranda, I knew she was going to make it big and she did, good for her. And now baby on the way... I wouldn`t be suprised if this was her strongest year, like all dreams come true (Prada campaign, how much more hf can you go?). I am happy if there is more seasons like this to come, but I`d understand if she wanted to focus on other fields from now on.

^ I know exactly what you mean. When I saw Adriana at Givenchy it felt like it was the beginning of something, and it kind of didn't go anywhere after that. then we saw her at LV but by then she was far along with her pregnancy so I knew nothing was going to happen.

but then Ale kind of just hit everyone by surprise, showing at Prada, a couple of other shows, and then lately at D&G. she's really working hard and it shows. I'm very happy for her. I do wish it was Adriana with the success as I am team Adriana, but nevertheless Ale is having a great run that is undeniable.

i'm really happy for Ale, as well. i feel like she's really taking a cue from Gisele's career and working her *** off to be everywhere. i don't know if there's another working model right now who has ELEVEN campaigns this season. that's sort of madness.

I could be wrong, but I think she and Marilyn have had everything planned out since the moment she signed with them and she's even said that she has it so that she can spend time with her daughter (not traveling so far or for too long), so it makes me think that they were waiting for next year to really get back into the swing of things.

^ Yeah, it can be planned thing, actually very possible. Valentina is very small yet, in my country almost all moms stay home at least the first 9-12 months, most women even more. Plus it isn`t so pleasant to travel with a little baby. My comment was more about me moaning cause I can`t see her work more, completely for selfish reasons
