I was so happy to see Charlotte on the cover and i actually liked it, but the photos of her are tragic... Bad hair, bad makeup, bad photos... I'm scared of seeing the rest.
I do actually like the cover and the preview of the main story. It reminds so much of mid 90`s Testino - I used to be a huge fan, which kind of makes up the dated styling and make-up.
However, why not Léa????? Her preview looks amazing and I'm sure she definitely has proved she's got everything it takes to be a cover star and show stopper.
Okayyy well I think this hairstyle doesn't suit her at all. And it's worse on the pictures in which she wears a heavy make-up (the one with the brown jacket, omg it shouldn't even been in the print, styling is bad too). It makes her looks so older!
Charlotte is gorgeous and yeah her editorial is quite bland.I believe it was Gucci that hold this cover story as she the face of their beauty line. That's why it's so generic and safe.
Oh God, what a stale cover editorial! Charlotte is one of the most beautiful royals, and yet this feature looks like a filler! Léa's single shot is proof that she needed to get this cover instead.
On the other hand, I'm looking forward to see more of Testino's 5a7! That's a stunning preview. The rest looks very unremarkable.
Charlotte's feature appears to be the exact style of photography I love seeing Testino produce. Testino used to create some wonderful features for Vogue with Roitfeld, so I always appreciate seeing these fresh portfolios he captures with Alt. Sophie Marceau's from May 2007 and Laetitia Casta's from May 2012 remain to be favorites of mine. Thanks for the previews, Melancholybaby!
Charlotte's pic with the brown vest and the jeans is beyond terrible. She looks awful; can't believe they said yes to it. And I actually think she's quite pretty (and beyond boring).
And by that preview I guess they styled Léa à la Nouvelle Vague style. I'm bored already. How imaginative of them...
Lara looks stunning in her picture with the yellow jacket. I'm positive it'll be the only decent thing about the issue.
Got to see the issue and my goodness Charlotte's editorial is even worst in print. It's can pass as the new definition of the words "uninspired" and "lifeless". I'm not saying that it's not beautiful, because it is indeed beautiful. I cannot deny the fact that Charlotte is beautiful, but the issue here is about the execution. Nothing about it stands out
The cover shot is simply horrible. She looks like Elaine Benes. This is a perfect example of fashion people being so clueless of the real world-- or even of pop culture that they failed to recognize the Elaine- look.
