This cover was almost identical to the vintage Vogue Italia ed. Same mood & same wig...

Do you remember Iris's Chanel cover a few years ago? Yes it was familiar with a Vogue Italia Kristen cover, at least Carine had a twist, she made it more tackier, more fashion-y & more funny..

Generally, I prefer eye contact in cover shots (and at second glance, it really doesn't feel very much like a cover shot at all)

There better be some Natasha Poly in the issue. It's surprising Natasha or Daria haven't showed up under Alt's reign already. Not even no mention from the August shoot a week back.

They've been overused, to the people who are sick of them being overused. Being crazy about them both, I could take them in every issue. And I doubt you'd hear a complaint from me. On the note of giving Emmanuelle's other favoruties a chance.. Isabeli, Gisele, Kate? Those would certainly fall into the overused category.

Well the inspiration is beyond obvious, but to me it works. Isabeli looks great with short hair, and i love when Mert&Marcus play with colors.

That's got to be the worst looking wig ever (I hope it's a wig).

Why Isabeli, that it's 30 million times more beautiful than Linda, is not allowed to be Isabeli is beyond me. How unoriginal. I'm really disappointed with Alt, and as faithful buyer of VP i was one of those persons that thought she was a great choice for the mag.

^ the exact reason why I don't buy or subscribe to Vogue Paris for 2 years now, I don't even bother to buy a single issue I might like for an editorial: I just find the shot(s) I like in HQ on the web = Vogue Paris used to be great at one point, then Carine Roitfelt was obsessed with her p*rno chic vibe and the same, same, same models; the articles in French (since I am) weren't even that insightful or great! And then came Emmanuelle Alt = complete death of the mag with every single cover she launched so far. Hopefully other Vogue stepped out their game and in the end we'll always have US Vogue and Vogue Italia.

The cover is alright, probably one of the best facial images of Isabeli that I have seen, but it is just not "up there." Clearly they were trying to recreate the Linda Evangelista image and there is nothing wrong with that, but you would think that the result would be impeccable, and I don't mean that it should be a duplicate, but the image should be on point and this looks like when a third rate magazine, with a lower budget and a lesser photographer and model, tries to appropriate from an image from a top magazine. The problem with this and last month's images are that they are too "almost" and I am trying to figure out if the issue is that Alt is too timid or if her editing eye is lacking, and regardless of the reason, if it can be remedied.

Totally different than what i expected but I absolutely love it, Isabeli looks amazing, every inch the supermodel, and the inside shot is fab too in the YSL dress, so anxious to see the rest!
