I totally agree. The cover is not bad, it's the kind of cover some Vogues around the world wouldn't be able to produce.
I don't like it, I think it's because the lipstick.

That's the first time I love Iris so much! I love the styling, Iris's red lips with the gold jewelry are amazing and the whole effect is simply perfect. I'm wondering how gorgeous Iris's editorial is going to be

I like it because it's a 2009 remake of the McMenamy look, it's an homage to the model herself as much as it's celebrating Chanel.

And it certainly doesn't do Iris any harm to get a March cover; I'm interested to see what the inside edit is like, as the cover is much better than I thought it would be.

its very nice but it looks like it has already been done and indeed it looks a lot like a meisel cover.

I like the fact that they didn't put tons of texts on the cover but then again its what Vogue Italy usualy does so I'd describe this cover like a vintage vogue italy cover revisited by Vogue Paris.

I can't wait for the review and the contents though.

and just a special off topic message: Vogue Paris should use Maryna Linchuk, and Id love to see her on a cover

Agreed! Iris really looks wonderful... IMO really strong yet also very feminine & hardly androgynous... at least not on the cover. And yeah... I do believe a woman can be strong & feminine at the same time.
