Vogue Paris March 2011 : Saskia De Brauw by Mert and Marcus

don't know who she is so i had to look her up

i like the cover!

I'm torn. I can't decide whether or not I like it, but I do appreciate the fact that they didn't use Saskia as the typical Givenchy punked out girl and went with something softer. The image just doesn't scream Fantasy to me, but I'll wait for more to really judge on that

Cant believe all the hate!!!?!?!?!? I love it, its fresh, feminine and bold at the same time. And more importantly it's different from all the other covers at the magazine stand. Haters gonna hate

I was soo waiting for this and it's turned out better than I expected. Saskia wow, she really made it, the cover its very timeless in their way, and think MM did a great job. Can't wait to see what's inside!

Could be better with her lips closed but i think i like it... March is always interresting covers for VP, and that will be one of them!!
Discovered Saskia last month, and... good choice!!

She's in the S/S 11 ads for Givenchy and was featured in the February issue of Vogue Paris.

I'm surprised so many of you dislike the cover. I think it's really nice, and finally something new for VP.

And what's up with Vogue Enfant? Do we really need that? Creeps me out.

It's really cute. It has designer childwear ads, 2-3 eds, and some pages that show some cool and chic stuff you can buy to your kids.

The cover text is in raised gold foil?

it's not my favourite cover but...i don't hate it...i hope the contents are amazing and i hope most to see Daria in this magazine

like everything about the cover (heading, clothing, the angle), except, sadly, her face.

maybe it will look better in a better quality.

It's beautiful but underwhelming. Maybe because it's not what we're used seeing from VP but the face expression feels lazy. Good for Saskia though. :)

am i the only one thinking of "Emmanuelle"?

Maybe it's a bad scan, but that cover seems to be an unfortunate combination of factors which add up to produce a picture of a simpleton tomboy. The angle of the head, the sad eyes, the slack mouth, the only thing missing is some drool.

What a waste of Saskia - although at least the honour of appearing on the cover will help to get her name out there, even if she's in the guise of an idiot.

It doesn't matter what the cover looks like, it couldn't live up to the expectations people have of it being her LAST!COVER!EVER!!!!!!

I think it might look better in real life.

it´s really interesting cover. not typical Vogue Paris cover and reminds more experimental Vogue Italia.

i actually like the cover. it's fresh & clean, im a loved of simple glamour & thats what i get from this. im definitely hoping for dope content in this issue though; they should've put carine on the cover. hahaha im just playn. they probably allowed emmanuelle to take more control on this one & we'll see a full force change next issue- carine seems like she could care less, i bet her mind is already on her next move. nonetheless, im excited about the changes for VP & am also excited for carine's new beginning.
