Vogue Paris September 2010 : Marion Cotillard by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott

I am in love with the Rive Gauche et Libre editorial! Love the black and white photos!

I'm so damn tired of Kate Moss styled as Kate Moss.
GOD me too. seriously... such a waste of kate moss. and with emmanuelle + inez and vinoodh it could only end up like that... SO tired of them working together - or emmanuelle working with anyone, nowadays...
i do love the curly hair though.

rive gauche et libre is really nice.

I can't be dissapointed in the Moss ed since I have never liked her in print...
The main ed is nice but nothing more.

No Lara or Daria? I am going to cry.

But whatever, Marion looks amazing. :D About time she got the VP cover and the September one is even greater!

Loving the issue so far!!

Could have done without Kate Moss though!!

Honestly, I feel so let down by VP. This is a SEPTEMBER ISSUE for crying out loud! The only ed that seems remotely interesting is the one styled by Carine in B&W.

Why VP, why?! No Daria, Iselin, Isabeli, Raquel, Lara, Lily D, you know, the models that actually have talent in modeling!

And we do get Poly, but she gets objected to a horrible Terry ed that should never have been considered in the first place! I don't understand how this man gets such high profile work with the best models and celeb when quite frankly his work is vulgar, trashy, and something that anyone could replicate.

And we get Moss, a big name in the industry, and al they can come up with is putting an afro on her and sticking her in Alt's overused styling to be photographed in B&W by the 2 most overused photographers in VP. Innovating.

All they had to do was basically replace Freja with Daria, do something different and exciting with Moss, trash Poly's ed, and get photographers like Testino, Klein, Roversi, Mikael J, McDean, Sorrenti to come up with something better.

Quite frankly, if I was in charge of this issue, I would feel embarrassed for a magazine of this caliber to put out this utter crap.

my god, kate's editorial is really bad, UGH  on the other hand, freja's looks incredibly good.
rive gouche also looks great. somehow it reminds me of testino's vintage studio work.
can't wait to see more from constance's.

This issue sounds great, and the fact that some models were not choosen doesn't mean that this is a bad issue... for me looks great!
And Natasha's editorial is fabulous!

Kate has 2 editorials in British Vogue and the cover, so I don't want to see her again in the same month in Paris Vogue.

VI is really obssesed with Kate Moss! I'm pretty sure Emmanuelle Alt can't get enough of her, both of them have pretty much the same style.

I'm uploading the behind-the-scenes video of the beauty ed with Tom Pecheux and Constance Jablonski in action on Youtube.

I find Kate's editorial to be far too similar to her Vogue UK editorial for September by Demarchelier. They're both just so dull, especially for the biggest issue of the year.

I love this video. After watching this, you understand why they call makeup artists "artists".
