Who Will Sweep Up the Fall/Winter 2017 Shows?

Birgit has opened/closed a quarter of the shows she's walked, and they're all top shows.

She's fine.

In fact I think this is Brigit's break out season, she's an absolute star everywhere she walks.

Birgit's definitely the breakout star of the season.

Very few of the new girls strike me as having lasting potential. Who cares if they're walking all the top shows when they make zero impression and could be replaced by next season without anyone noticing.

Conversely, some girls will never be runway staples but still keep booking that print work. It happens all the time that a breakout girl has one killer season despite not having the ideal proportions (typically), then slows down. It doesn't necessarily mean that she's fading, as long she has photographers, stylists, etc, backing her.

Skylar Tartz is doing well, opening Valentino (and Giambattista Valli).

Bara had a really bad season, she has been in all 4 cities with little amount of shows, and in Paris 0

I think Alicia Burke season is quite solid , even if I think she can do better .. She is so stunning

& BTW ...Am I the only one wondering where is Jena Goldsack?
This girl is just stunning ! Since her 1st feature on Vogue Paris ( my fav ed from her with Mert & Marcus) I'm wondering what Alt is waiting for to put her on the scene , she appeared on the magazine on the same moment as Luna Bjil , they were the 2 new girls I was waiting to see how being on VP could make their career big but Jena didn't get the exposure Luna had..
I have not seen her in motion yet but her print work IMO is pretty strong and if Alts team "trained" her like they did for Luna ( btw the way I like her walk its like they werent trying to teach her how to walk like queen Poly  .. She got that old times strut model vibes )
Jena could be as big as Luna is right now I think she could fits perfectly Chloe , Marant ..etc
She didn't show up in Paris yet but at least since it seems that Katie Grand loves her she will probably walk for Miu Miu ... Lets see

I agree about Birgit Kos being the star of the season. Her presence has been very remarkable on the runway.

Who's leading the shows so far? I guess no one will come to the 60-70-80 shows walked this season, like we used to have in the past. A lot of shows actually didn't show on the runway (Carven, Courrèges, Rag & Bone, Zac Posen, Givenchy, Jill Stuart, Rodarte for example). Has anyone noticed it? Can it be a factor, too?

^^I'm not wondering about Jena Goldsack. She is a success in print so far, but I don't think it will translate into a runway presence. She doesn't need it.

Might also have to do with that thing we're not allowed talk about that is a big factor when walking shows.

^ Maybe, and she's not very tall I think. Also she didn't get the same exposure as Luna, who had 2 covers.

So far Jessie B and Jess PW are leading with 48 shows!

True haha but I was meaning that they came around the same time and she could be as big as Luna , Jena booked some shows but it is really random ( Brandon Maxwell , Z&V , Blumarine...).
I don't know if she is tall but I think she might but the same height as Luna IDK

And yeah lets see who will get LV to know the winner :P
BTW Rianne should do fashion month its sad she might be WWE the girl is to stunning let her walk haha

Since we have two top walkers named Jess, can we agree to give a tagline for this season "The Season of the Two Jesses"? :D

Can someone please post the final tally of this season's top walkers?

I did a list, there are maybe some mistakes. I included Tommy Hilfiger in LA + Kenzo, Dsquared and Paul Smith (brands that presented FW17 womenswear during mens fashion week).

Top5:

#1 Jess PW and Jessie Bloemendaal with 50 shows
#2 Lia Pavlova with 45 shows
#3 Camille Hurel with 44 shows
#4 He Cong and Emm Arruda with 43 shows
#5 Odette Pavlova with 45 shows

^If you would have told me there was only 1 Pavlova and she walked 90 shows and won, I would have believed you too. Everywhere you looked there was a Pavlova.

Anyway a disappointingly un-diverse top group but congrats to all the girls.

Thanks. Jess PW was #1 (in a tie) last season so she is atop the list of most walked shows again.

well its good to see at least some consistency in the list (for once !)

I think had Sora Choi not been a city exclusive in Paris, she would've been number 2 or even number 1. But really glad to see Cong He there.

Here are my full rankings for each city, F/W 2017 in general, and top shows. These are all Top 10, and only the shows within the RTW calendar counts (yes, all shows whose cast are posted in here are counted!), and that also includes Day 0 shows in NYFW, so apologizes if there are unexpected names that made it here. Keep in mind that everything is still provisional.

Models are ranked based on their number of shows and total amount of opens/closes.

Congratulations for Jess PW! She barely reached the 50 shows mark but nevertheless she's done her best! I had to say she's quite a commander this season!

My full Excel calculations should be done in a couple of days to let casts from other shows be added
