Dresses. Bring 'em on!

Post #138's dress is a Yay! to me. It isn't totally gorgeous, but surely a lovely dress. I say yay.

Wow... sounds like you'll be quite busy, dauphine. Two weddings and a wedding party? I have no problem with this dress (Post #140) either. So count me for Yay! The shape and design are lovely for this dress. At least you'll be one if (if not the) most stylish ladies in the Big Apple with a dress like this.

Teja, I say nay LOVE blue/black, but I'm not crazy about the fabric. Maybe it might look different in person though? But as ChrissyM said, if it's just the blue/black holding you up, then it's a definite yay. Blue/black is wonderful!!

Just to quickly chime in... Big Yay! for the dress in Post #148. Since blue is my favorite color, I got some love for that dress along with the black. That's a lovely dress.

I hate them too (except for their flat sandals). I hate the way they are shaped. I'm talking about the style of #2 and #3 in particular (and also the boots that seem to be popular among bloggers). Hate the arch, the proportions of heel to platfrom..Either the heel is too low or the platform is too high. The ones from Jessica Simpson (Dany) are much better imo.
