I watched the show and Angelika was very unprofessional. She's a nobody and can't make rules and expect established people to think it's ok. She's not a big name and can't make demands. I wonder if she learned something from this. I bet she didn't and she thinks that she's a know it all. It's like she's never ever wrong.

February 8, 2007 -- Jenni Kayne is a designer from LA (perhaps the spelling of her first name tipped you off) with celebrity friends like the Olsen twins (who were at the show). Judging by what she's done for Fall '07, it's hard to understand why she bothered with the expense and trouble of showing in New York. The dresses, all in either black or white, were remarkably unremarkable. She did some cute high-waisted miniskirts that one would expect to see at any Club Monaco or Banana Republic. However, there were several incredibly cute shrunken black patent leather jackets - one in a cute '60s-tent-like silhouette, replete with wide collar and three-quarter sleeves, which was especially fun. The rest, however, was so boring as to be inoffensive - except for the wedge-heeled ankle boots in patent leather. Those are a complete non-starter.

I like pretty much every1 except for angelika but she have her moments that she seems ok but she made everybody late. Lucia and Beatrice r of my favorites. Lucia b/c she is happy and Beatrice is very pretty but she looks bored sometimes but i like to see more of her personality. Abby and Valeria r people. But the part that confuses me is Beatrice losing weight before fashion week b/c Lucia had a trainer but u don't see Beatrice w/ a trainer. It looks like Angelika is not going to get kicked out b/c she argues during the previews of next week she talks w/the President. She was dumb to change clothes & get into a into a fight. If i was in her position i would not get into a fight or change outfits esp. if i was late.

Angelika wanted to seem like she didn't care about being a model but when she got fired she got all defensive. The girl is lying to herself.

Also who was that model who helped the girls walk the week before this one? Vlada...?

I'm surprised that the models said things behind the designer's backs. Like Beatrice calling Ashley Paige 'evil'. She will probably see that and never hire Beatrice. Plus think of how many industry friends that Ashley Paige has.. She can sway their interest in her as well. These girls need to THINK. These designers are basically their bosses.

But Angelika was the worst. When somebody in control of sending you for castings reminds everybody, not just her, that being late is unprofessional, she needs to just shut up and nod her head. He wasn't even attacking them, he was kindly reminding them for their own BENEFIT. Angelika comes off like she feels entitled to everything. Can't STAND people like her!!

I thought that everybody was being too hard on her.. until this show. I'm not even sure if she's really leaving. It sort of looks like she talks her way out of a few things in the next show.

The second thing I got from the episode was that Lucia's body is OH.MY.GOD

I'm a straight girl but seeing her in that bikini had me questioning my sexuality

Hahaha I felt exactly the same way! My jaw dropped when I saw Lucia.

As for Angelika...I think she's beautiful, good face and good body, but I don't like her "I know everything about the modeling industry" attitude.

ugh, I know. Angelika drives me insane. She acts like she doesn't care about modeling at all but you can tell that she obviously does. And she thinks she knows everything. I still like Lucia and Beatrice the most to. I think Valeria is really, really pretty but for some reason at the photo shoots she always looks not as good. Maybe its the makeup.

I have to say, it disappoints me that Angelika is working.

You do not give a client attitude, you do not give your boss the what-for.. and above all else, you do not give the impression that you think the industry you work in is "a joke" (her words). Even if it IS a joke, even if you truly believe that, you never, EVER let the people you work FOR know that.
Angelika is beautiful, she photographs well, and her spunk comes across in her photos--but she is impossible to work with. She gives people who have been in the industry FIVE TIMES longer than her problems. She tells them how it is as though she knows. How long could she have worked so far? Five years, tops?

Just because she photographs well doesn't mean she has the leeway to mouth off, dictate to magazine editors, and get in a pissing contest with the co-owner of Next. She seems to think that her looks and skill in front of the camera give her that right, but they DON'T. Maybe once she's paid her dues she can act like a diva (MAYBE!) but she'll never get there if she doesn't shut up and put up.

She needs to realize she's not a big fish in this pond.

Angelika just has the most annoying attitude. She thinks she's so real and has all these ideas about the real world but they're fake. It's just a mcdonaldization of dissent.

This was on the TLC website about last week's episode:

"The young models meet with swimwear designer Ashley Paige and get a harsh lesson in dealing with a critical client. After the group is late for a photo shoot a bad attitude could send one girl packing."

At the end of the episode, the agent from Next has a meeting with all the girls regarding their unprofessionalism ie. being late, complaining, etc..Anglika gets all defensive about it and he tells her she's going home cause he doesn't think there's a place for her in their agency. It ended at that point.

I do NOT understand the appeal of Michelle AT ALL. Arghhhh, watching her bothers me so. Although Angelika really bothers me, if I had never seen the show I would probably like her. I love Lucia- I think she is gorgeous! As well as Emma- who did great in the beauty shoot (in my opinion).

I didn't think I would watch this show. I saw descriptions in magazines and I saw the commercials. I knew Petra, whom I love, was the host. But tonight I was just flipping through the stations and stumbled on a repeat. I really love it. It's everything that America's Next Top Model is not although I don't think they should vote out a girl because her photoshoots blow when they have an idea of what they're best at and which type of modelling they would like to do. Anyway, I LOVE IT.

Valeria's my favorite. Honestly, I couldn't keep my eyes off of her when she got on the screen. I do not like the one from California, Angelsomethingorother. I hope I stumble on repeats more often!
