She should change her attitude on the show and it's sad that a lot of people believe in her, thinking that she can make them supermodels but honestly, she can't...NO ONE CAN!..and I hate that fact that she refuses to talk about her imperfections, especially on her show..I salute Cynthia for asking her about that matter but as we all know..What Tyra wants, Tyra gets..well, in her world

I hate the fact that in the show opening (intro) she's singing the song and it's all about her and not the contestants

I loved her when she was a supermodel , I also loved her body she was absolutely gorgeous and amazing , specially whens she was with Victoria secret , I don't understand why she retired so early just to do her pointless talk show and do ANTM , why didn't she keep modeling and still do the shows like Heidi Klum

I wonder when will they shoot the next season? I hope Tyra gets Andre Leon Talley! that would be a HUGE PLUS!!! I think she should change the prizes as well because covergirl and seventeen are so commercial...yet she keeps insisting that the winner will do well in the "high fashion industry" ugh! Tyra is absolutely delusional!

We know her patterns on ANTM:
1. Every 3 season, a black girl wins..regardless!!!
2. Winners don't repeat (ex. blonde wins, blonde won't win again next season etc.)
3. Each season she picks girls that will fit the following roles: b*tch/villain, ugly duckling/awkward girl, girl with a sob story, girl who has no personality and a black girl who does so bad but since Tyra likes "her", she saves her repeatedly

I agree she should change the prizes what about an actual fashion magazine cover instead of a magazine that is like for kids & teens who don't know much about the fashion industry

The patterns that you mentioned are so funny because they are true , it's like you've been studying her emo

However I think Andre Leon Talley is out of her reach , but I hope she gets him and then like as usual fire him when the season is over

I don't think he's hard to please though he was on an old episode of the Hills and he told Whitney Port (love her she's so gorgeous & stylish) that she should be a model

So I think it has been confirmed already that ALT will be joining the panel cycle 14 but CW denied that Kimora Lee will be part of ANTM as well.

America's Next Top Model: Kimora Lee Simmons, Andre Leon Talley Reportedly Join Judging Panel

America's Next Top Model boss Tyra Banks has reportedly signed on two new advisors to help her critique her incoming cycle 14 models: model and reality star Kimora Lee Simmons, and Vogue editor-at-large and fashion show staple Andre Leon Talley.

As you might recall, Kimora was a panel judge during Antm cycle 1, but in later years has been rumored a Tyra "frenemy." It's just that rumor, in fact, that some sources are saying led to Simmons' new assignment at the judging table.

The CW have denied Kimora returning and said Miss J "might" be demoted, but I don't think they have said anything about Andre meaning he could have joined the panel.

ANTM needs someone who is somewhat credible in the fashion industry.... and ALT is by far the only one who is reachable that is actually worth noting. It would be a nice change if he does enter. And plus, if Tyra does go in an arrogant tirade and decides to ever fire ALT, her hopes of ever making those girls models will end immediately, haha. He is after all the right hand man to the queen of fashion; Anna Wintour.

So yeah, while you aren't going to get Karl Lagerfeld, photographers at Meisel or Demarchelier's level or the editors of the major editions of Vogue* doing business with ANTM, it does not (will not) take a lot of heavy lifting for Tyra to line up fashion luminaries (she was able to get Twiggy and Versace). IMO Tyra does business with CoverGirl and Seventeen because she wants to, probably because they are forking over the biggest bucks and give her the most control, not because she cannot line up more high fashion brands.

*Although if she snagged ALT, that contradicts that particular assertion.

I think ALT would be good for the show. He's not going to praise girls who clearly aren't model material.

I actually think the show would be better if Tyra removed herself from the judging panel and just focused on doing the coaching and photography-- both of which I think she is very good at.

Yeah, except Twiggy isn't being offered any other jobs and that Versace show was a rehash of an old collection and wasn't really an authentic Versace show. I don't remember even seeing Donatella at that episode, just a bunch of half naked guys. Atleast the Baby Phat collection in the first season was a real show during fashion week.

And I think the reason why so many young people admire her is the fact that she is very famous. And let's not forget that many of these young people who adore her don't seem to recognize the difference between a very successful high fashion model (like Naomi Campbell) and a very successful commercial model (such as Tyra). She may have a big following in the mainstream public, but I highly doubt that she has any impact in the world of modeling or in fashion. I mean, did the modeling world turn its head around when she chose the "plus sized" model as the winner of ANTM? No. Is the world of modeling going to start hiring "shorter" girls because she wants people to recognize that shorter girls are just as beautiful? I don't think so.

Like what was said before, I think her hiring ALT would be the greatest thing she can ever do for the show because it validates ANTM as a stepping stone to being featured high fashion magazines.
