Balenciaga S/S 2012: Juliane, Kirstin, Laura & Rosie by Steven Meisel

i actually love this:blush: the best imho 2012 campaign i have seen so far, can't wait to see the rest

dee-zasss-ter! my favorite collection of the spring season & this is all we get for a campaign. don't understand, at all, how beautiful the clothes can be while the vision is some how stalled as a campaign.

I really love it! Simple yet attracting!

This was one of my favorite collections of the season and to see it wasted on a campaign like this leaves me feeling incredibly disappointed. This is dull and horribly pretentious. I'm begging you, Nicolas, bring back Sims!

As a die-hard Meisel fan, I need to see the full set to really judge. But I agree that Balenciaga has seen better days.

I'm begging you, Nicolas, bring back Sims!

Yes, Sims needs to swoop back in and save Balenciaga, his images were soo cohesive with the clothing and brand, Meisel is great for some but to me just doesn't fit the Balenciaga modern/edgy yet classic aesthetic.

Oh. Well that is a horse of a different colour. I LOVE THE NEW SHOT! Sort attitude reminds me of the Missoni Ads with Kinga and Iselin.

I like the idea of the new shot but eww @ the post-coital Freja hair.

I don't care for the picture because I am not a fan of the pretentious, hipster aesthetic, BUT I have to say that this is an acceptable rendering of that vibe. I think that the thing that makes this a significant improvement over the previous images is the styling especially the outfit selected. I think that the hair may be a bit too much but calculated bed head is to be expected in the pretentious hipster set up along with the taped to the wall music sheet and vintage TV set.

I like the idea of the new shot but eww @ the post-coital Freja hair.
 Gurl why did you have to put that concept in my head.
