i think the whole classy strategy may just be a way to take the old clients from garavani under john's wing, no?

Well, that may be a valid point, but John's signature line has been just as strong, if not stronger since Robinson's passing. So I don't think we can say, it was all Robinson, because Galliano has still got "it"...clearly, since his own line has become so phenomenal again. I just can't wrap my brain around why John has let Dior become so horribly boring and uninspiring. Sure he's getting a lot of pressure from Arnault and Toledano, but he still has talent, so I don't get what's going on.

I just want to close my eyes and make it all disappear!

Oh the good old days...Jacquetta's walk + the runway + an innovative collection + music you couldn't beat....That's what I always expect from Galliano ( well maybe not Jacquetta though I wish! ) but I guess I'll have to let go! I feel so let down!

Why is everyone *****ing their pants? I think its awesome! The colours are super awesome and the accessories are really cool. I love the prints on Stam's and Irina's dress. If u ask me this is a huge step up from his last collection which was a bit boring.

I think Galliano seems to be focussing more on his own line than Dior.

People need to stop comparing this to Versace, ok like two pieces look like Versus from like five years ago but at least they didn't do it with crazy make-up and hair. That was the problem with this collection, that it wasn't edited down:too many prints with bright colors,big ,hair and make-up.
