Some of this is gobsmackingly terrific. Some is a little much, and some is, even worse, a little dull, but overall this is an a amazing job.

After seeing the whole collection, I can say I like most of them, just fancy and exquisite as always. This is the fascination of couture.
If there were no S/S 07 and F/W 07 couture show before, I would think this collection perfect, but aren't there too much reference of the past couture shows? (As many people tralked about in yhe last few pages) John is playing safe now, it's wearable couture now, but isn't couture show supposed to be more artistic? We've already had a more wearable Dior ready-to-wear, why can't we expect a surprising crazy Dior couture?

It's just my point of view, anyway, this collection is OK.

Seeing the video with the gorgeous set and Led Zeppelin, has added some points to the show.

I find it almost orgasmic when Galliano uses that acid green-yellow on African-American models.

He knows how to dress Alek EXTREMELY well. I mean, he puts her in gold at HC SS 04 and she looks divine, he puts her pink at HC SS 05 and she looks STUNNING, purple at FW 06 and SS 07, and now this acid green at SS 08...it's just too much to handle!!! Sensory overload!
