Not a fan of the poodle girl either. It's a shame they picked her, as there were quite a few promising girls amongst the finalists. I like Amandine Bruno, Aicha Ahmed, Jill Laure Julie and Laetitia Ruffin (she's stunning!). So odd the ugliest girl won.

I like the Mauritius winner, though she looks very average.



ETA: I just read some of the comments below the article about the La Réunion girls, looks like no one's happy with the girl they chose. Now I feel bad for the poodle

I'm no fan of Angelina Cléret as a model either, but I don't think we should be calling her poodle girl. . She's only 15 and quite pretty. I'm going to reserve judgement until I see her without makeup and not smiling. There has to be some reason why she was chosen, right?

Agreed, calling a 15 year old the poode girl sounds somewhat mean. As for her modeling potential I ll first see other pics. Am always interested in a model that is totally different from what everyone expects

I think they'll send two or possibly even three girls. Last year they had Nyasha representing Zimbabwe, though.

My favourites in the UK group are Amelia, Kate, Louise and Olivia D. I'll support Eilidh too since I'd like to see another successful Scottish model but she's quite ordinary looking in comparison to the other girls. Hannah and Daisy have quite interesting looks but they don't really appeal to me as models.
