if the 70s trickling back means

that if i wear a satiny red gucci maxi dress with my cleavage all out basically im eye candy and my man is like omg lets do it on the dining room table PRONTO .....then baby its all good !! He feels good and I feel very good!!
Bring on the sexy late 70s , because hey if being sexy means your confident and in control and wanted and desired at the same time and these clothes like it or not do it. Also i dont think I would get the same reaction and satisfaction if I were wearing a balloon skirt and leggings  ?

another thing she isnt copying anyone its the GUCCI equation
gucci= sex
tom ford = sex
there fore gucci= tom ford
so any thing which comes out of gucci will have that connotation.
pilati copies YSL does he get flack for it now and 80% of the stuff he makes is ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ accept the shoes i own them (the other 20%) so quit being haters ! Wear her clothes if you can afford her gowns and see our sex lives sky rocket !!!!!! woo hoo!!

All very good points Veronica US of A!!! Man your man is a lucky man! Wonder if the red satin Gucci dress has a label advising on how to deal with the heath and safety issues arising from said induced use of dining room table....

please stay on topic and keep your sex life etc. to private messages, thank you:flower:

I really like what I'm seeing. I feel like people are never going to be satisfied with Gucci. If you do overtly sexy people will cry, "Tom Ford!" If you try to do something different people will cry, "This isn't Gucci!"

I think this collection is definitely Gucci, but not Tom Ford. For one Mr. Ford is not known for his prints and there are several prints featured in the collection, which I think is very Frida. The bold use of color and texture is also a departure from Ford era Gucci. I for one look foward to seeing her future collections. :flower:

^agreed =)
i can feel sexy gucci..but the tom ford vibe isnt strong enough to scream "TOM"

sexy~~
definetly better than the last collection..phew..i think most people are just not ready for the sporty polo to take over gucci..

i love some of the outfits in there..some are a bit too much..but overall..sexy collection..i love super minis XD

what gross hairdo's all these girls have...

hmm yeah..this seems like a f-ed up version of f/w 04..

same mood, same attitude..similar hair and makeup but it's f-ed this time..and the clothes are overtly sexy but not done well. i think tom ford did it well..this is just a little off the mark

What's with all the horrible roots...don't they have people to touch-up the dye job or is it a new trend?

I dont really like this. Am I the only one that loved what they did last season? I really liked the floral dresses, skirts, blouses. I was thinking of getting the blouse or dress but they startt at 3k becuase of the beading

I can't tell... Is this Gucci or Versace? Cause the first few pics don't look like Gucci at all... Maybe a Donatella-ed Gucci, but not the Gucci I'm used to...

Totally! I needed this. This is fantastic! It appears to be a perfect median between her style mixed in with a little bit of seduction/sex appeal.

The words out of my mouth ;)

From what I have seen here, there is potential in the styling of the clothes, if you just take each piece as a separate, not as shown on the runway - especially with those micro-dresses.

As I already pointed out, that draped red satin dress on Snejana could have done well if worn as a tunique, either way with black leggings or a pair of skinny jeans underneath, or even with a demi-sheer, rust coloured jersey turtleneck under the dress - still sexy, quite rock-chic, but less obviously sexy as shown here. This is indeed a little too blatantly late seventies, I miss the point for what reason this is again relevant for 2006.

Milan seems perpetually stuck in the 70's and this just reinforces the point. I think she made the best move possible going back to the sexed up if altogether too retro 70's (again and again).
It'll sell well to those whom looking a bit tarty is not just a fad but a lifestyle.
The fusing of styles is all a bit confusing. There are notes of Versace, Missoni, Costume National, even dare I say, Cavalli. Perhaps it would make things easier if they all just merged to form House of Milan?
