Possible update on the Cuba/Chocolate blind from Lainey....

In a Hugh Jackman article....

"Hugh and Deborra-Lee have been living in NY a while now. Since before Christmas. Next destination: definitely not Cuba. Probably LA?"

Lainey never ever suggests Hugh is gay, in fact, she goes on about his relationship with his wife and how awesome it is which I'm kind of surprised about. I'm not sure if that's because she doesn't want to out him, or if in fact, they are just rumors....

I agree, she did say that the Cuba guy is a very nice guy and Hugh Jackman always seems like evryone's favorite guy. When i read that i was like huh? but now i get it. I mean, his wife does look like she could be his mother .......

I think people make up rumours about him being gay just because his wife is older than him and not "attractive" by Hollywood standards. We live in a society that doesn't accept the fact that a handsome, sexy, famous rich man isn't parading around with a 25 year old bimbo. People forget this is Hugh Jackman we're talking about, not Hugh Hefner.

I agree completely and I find their relationship really refreshing. However, people have said that they have seen Hugh repeatedly with the same boyfriend...whereas with Jake, there are no such spottings. Just him out with his best friend.....

Either way, I hope it's not true of Hugh because I'd like to believe that their relationship is real since it's so atypical by Hollywood (and society) standards

My problem is not that he's not with a 25 year old bimbo, I just don't think his wife is beautiful at all. But to each his own.

I think they're for real.

When Deborah Lee Furness and Hugh met she was the big star and he was the young nobody, they met on set and married afterwards. With the age difference, obviously Deborah didn't age as well as he did. So with their relationship I really think they're for real.

And anyway, if he really wanted a beard I'm sure he could pick anyone - perhaps if his 'beard' was more attractive, that would be more 'convincing' ... even more reason to think that they're the real thing.

I think Lainey is saying he is NOT the Cuba - that blind refers to one of them being reformed, Hugh never had to reform, and the other is less attached - Hugh is very very much attached and has been so for many years (and the naysayers have to say that at least he appears to be very much attached).

but...didn't Cicciolina said she was famous when he met her. That counts as "quality beard" too, at that time.

It wasn't just some random gay rumors, it was specific: i.e. he was in a relationship with his business partner who didn't even do any work at all, etc.
Usually when men are with women considered unattractive, they just make up rumors about them being unfaithful with attractive women.

Afaik no ones is making gay rumor about Pierce Brosnan, and yet his wife is.....

I'm just in the camp who think that Hugh and Deborah together are really sweet and genuine together... plus Hugh + Deborah seem to have more red carpet mileage than Pierce and his wife, so more publicity = greater speculation.

I think Pierce and his wife are sweet and I appreciate that she fits a very non-traditional mold of bodyshape in Hollywood. She has a stunning face and I truly wonder what she looks like in person. Camera's always lie.
