Brittany Murphy Dies

Brittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived, multiple sources tell TMZ.

She was 32.

A 911 call was made at 8:00 AM from a home in Los Angeles that is listed as belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack, the Los Angeles City Fire Department tells TMZ.

We're told Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Murphy starred in such films as "Clueless," "8 Mile," and "Don't Say a Word."

I don't know anything about Brittany, aside from the brief news stories I read right now. Seems she had a lot of the same problems as Lindsay...

Perhaps the only thing keeping Lindsay going is her energy and love of the spotlight.

I never really liked Brittany as an actress but I was shocked when I saw the "Brittany Murphy RIP" thread on the "rumor has it" section. She definitely had the same issues as Lindsay. All that talk about Lindsay not making it to her 30s seems really scary now.

I think she will. Clearly, there's a lot of stamina there....not really complimenting her or anything, some people are just genetically predisposed to be able to overindulge....and she doesn't seem to do the on/off thing either, that's the riskiest behavior.

It's weird. Brittney bless her heart was not a media wh*re. But Lindsay just loves this stuff. People talking about her, taking her pictures. Her whole look now is how messed up she is. Isn't that what gets her magazines now. That is the only thing she has left. People still want her in magazines where she looks like she is on skid row. Sad. Hollywood uses her, and she is none the wiser because she has this need for attention and being relevant.
