It was an obviously fake rumour to anyone with half a brain (seeing as the last "rumour" about them collaborating when they were last seen in public together last May failed to be brought to fruition), but Lily Allen confirmed on an Australian radio show (2day FM in Sydney for those interested) last week that she and Lindsay are not and have no plans to record together.

While I don't believe she is completely sober/healthy if her appearance is anything to go by, I do think that a good 70% of the reports about her and Sam are false, especially the supposed "fights".

True- but she not only has to be able to work to maintain her career, but she needs to convince producers and directors, and her fans, that she can be in a condition to do it for a while- not just a week or so, before they back her in multi million dollar projects...Her Ugly Betty disaster last year was a turning point- she may already be radioactive to the industry...And then there are the health (mental and physical) issues- it doesn't just stay the same, the things she is doing take a toll over time, even, obviously in her looks...Somethings got to give at some point- just ask Tara Reid...

She need to pick on the right projects to start back her career. She did told us she's been going to movie meetings but she can lie about that one. Anyway, the problem is she have to win back the producer to get her good roles. She can't just simply agree on every role she can get because not all of them determine success. As of right now we have Labor Pains and it already got a distributor which called Labor Productions. They actually make a new distributor just to release Labor Pains. Hence, it will be a limited release and it's not bound to be box office smash. And people will make a big fuss about it because it suppose to be her 'comeback' movie. From the trailer I saw, the movie might be weak. But, she's not Britney; music and movie are totally different thing. I think she's going to have a few unsuccessful movies until she got the right one. We can see it from Robert Downey Jr, how Iron Man now change his career path.

Though, I can't comment on her health issues because that's her personal thing and I definitely have no clue about it. Even though like you said we can see it, but we can't judge a book by it's cover. You may be right, but I'm more concern on her career, not personal issues.

^^ Yup- except I think her personal things have been keeping her from the career she seemed to be starting... And it's not really that we don't know what she's up to- she talked about it in detail after her last rehab stay when she was doing well...

It's more of media fault today that make her personal issues a big fuss and make ridiculous stories about her. I doubt producers opinion will change on her credibility if she have fight with Sam or whatever that related to Sam.

^^ I don't agree at all...If a producer has to go to the bank for $20 million to start a project (especially right now), the health, stability and dependability of the actor is going to be a big issue...I doubt Lindsay walking around Houston St at 3:AM screaming at Sam while being taped by TMZ is the sort of thing they want to see... It's business, after all- these people want to make money, not babysit a crazy starlet...And Hollywood is full of beautiful, talented young actresses who don't have Lindsay's years of problems...She's been in treatment at least three times and in serious trouble with the law, too. Remember, even Marilyn Monroe was fired from her last picture for her personal problems- Lindsay's personal life is way too chaotic at this point...If I was a producer I wouldn't bet fifty dollars that she would be able to perform up to standards for any length of time...
I suppose I sound harsh, but this is a big money business, and Lindsay's track record is just awful at this point...

True. But I don't think she will go big projects as off right now. What she need is a good independent movies before going to bigger projects. Independent movies also can show how far her acting capabilities can go.

From what I've seen in paparazzi videos (not a lot though), she constantly move one place to another; not just shopping. Doesn't that show she's working on something? Not just movie meetings but other small projects like her new tan.

DHA is the active ingredient, and the spray doesn't contain any chemicals. Other ingredients include caramel, Chardonnay extracts, gogi berry, and a sugar-coconut base. The color lasts for four to five days, which isn't very long, so you'd have to buy a lot of it to stay tanned sans sun for the summer. But hey, Lindsay's got to make money in These Times, too. And we will admit, it kind of sounds delicious.

I don't think it makes sense at all, Lindsay's self-tanning disasters are a well-known joke.

I was reading something about how due to the financial crisis, there is less work and less money in Hollywood so studios are likely to only want to hire actors requiring lower insurance and who will prove to be more reliable (work wise and box office wise). Doesn't bode well for Lindsay.

I was thinking of some of the very good athletes around, who have had personal problems, or don't get along with anybody- even if they hit home runs the time comes when the teams don't want them because the risks and problems they bring are not worth the trouble anymore...What was Lindsay's last big hit movie? I hate it when they say "Mean Girls star Lindsay Lohan"..Huh? Something like five years ago? She's only red hot on the gossip pages now- and that won't last, either...

I agree. She's done nothing to prove that she's serious about acting and/or the film industry.

And the fact that she is trying to stay out of the spotlight is just a poor excuse since its well known that you can avoid the paparazzi if you want to. Look at the Olsen twins, Kate Bosworth etc - how many paparazzi shots do we see of them? Once a week, if not less!

It's obvious that she craves attention from the media and from the public. Look at the way she behaves. Look at the way she dramatizes everything for the camera.

Another stupid fight between Lindsay Lohan and Sam Ronson -- but this one has an even more ridiculous ending.

Sam peeled outta Prive nightclub in Vegas solo last night and when Lindsay figured out she'd been ditched, she totally flipped, crying as she yelled, "Did she leave ... did she f**king leave?!" She then ordered security to get her her "f**king keys, now!"

It's just tragic the way she behaves. And for all her 'life experience' and her 22 years, she doesn't show much maturity to be honest.

Screaming at people, pushing past the 'regular' people, being aggressive towards people 'beneath her' and having her security guard carry her drink around for her? She's like a modern-day Peter Pan. Refuses to accept responsibility, grow-up and behave like a dignified human being!!

The only news about Lindsay are either about some fit she threw at a party or about her launching something completely useless like leggings or tanning lotions. She won't be taken seriously unless she starts acting like a grown up. She's not a good actress to being with (in my opinion) and she's always messing up, hanging with the wrong crowd and throwing away job opportunities. She's closed too many doors behind her. I admit, you are partially right. The only think you were right was the news about fit threw at a party. I saw the video and I was wrong. But that doesn't mean every news about it were right just because some were caught.

People expect her to work and she did by doing small projects that will give her some income. But no, people still complain because it's not a movie project. Like I said before, because of her mistakes she have to find the right project or she's having hard time to get a movie project. That's why she's doing all the small projects while waiting for the right one.

How can you said that when she's not officially in the cast? From all the projects that she 'thrown' the only movie she officially in but had to let go was Edge of Love because of insurance problem. I'm not making this up because the director himself told the media.

She needs a reality check, and so do her hardcore fans.

I'm not being delusional here. I pretty much don't believe in any news that came out from the gossip media, even movie roles. And I don't deny that I can be wrong, just like you can be wrong too.

^^ It looks to me like the insurance issue is probably the main reason she hasn't been in a movie recently...If they can't get get coverage that she will be able to complete the project, that is usually the end of anyone finding financing...And she hasn't really brought the public in to pack the theatres recently, either...I read yesterday that Michael Jackson (who, let's face it, was once 10.000 times the star that Lindsay ever was....) may be cancelling all of his concerts in England, because the surety bond guaranteeing he will show up is just too expensive- people don't trust him anymore, he has a really bad track record...

Let's face it, she's toast. Probably beyond repair. Most likely will never get a serious project again. Too bad too, because at one point she had the world at her feet. She could have had anything.

Instead, she chose to throw it all away.

At most now, you might see her in some Gary Coleman/Jerry Mathers type bit parts in fourth rate movies or TV sitcoms.

I just saw that, it's really quite sad. She's either being incredibly over dramatic in that vid or the girl is an emotional wreck. Either way, no good will come of whatever it is she's into at the moment.
