That is such BS. People just make up ridiculous rumors for the sake of it and it is unsettling the crap they get away with. Like the Ungaro rumors - "Lindsay isn't getting paid". Um, she has a multi-year contract. "Lindsay's getting fired" -- only to have Ungaro spokespeople deny it. "Lindsay tried to take off with $15,000 in merch at Kitson, only to leave with $2000" -- when candids of her leaving the event show her empty-handed. "Lindsay's music label just dropped her, she is devastated" -- when she left the label in 2005.

Half the crap posted in this thread is false.

I'm not so sure about that. We haven't actually seen any proof of a contract.

And the Kitson thing turned out to have some truth to it:

Lindsay Lohan Causing Fighting at Emanuel Ungaro?

It seems Lindsay Lohan and her disastrous turn as artistic advisor to the house of Emanuel Ungaro is causing a rift between company executives.

Ungaro's chairman, Asim Abdullah and its CEO, Mounir Moufarrige are battling over whether the style-less starlet should stay at the company, the New York Post's Page Six is reporting.

Andullah wants her out to save Ungaro's relationship with American department stores. In the mean time. Moufarrige, who brought Lohan to the label in the first place, wants her to stay put, perhaps to save face. The two can both agree that the reviews of her first efforts in October were dreadful.

The label's founder Emanuel Ungaro has gone on the record about how angry he is that Lohan is destroying what he built. However, after selling his shares in 2005, Ungaro has had no contact with the new owners.

A rep for Emanuel Ungaro declined to comment. While Lohan's rep did not return emails for comment.

Lohan is rumored to have a five-year contract with Ungaro...presumably twirling around in office chairs and wrapping herself in fabric, since her job description is more 'creative muse' than anything.

I dunno, it's been reported by several sources that she has a multi-year contract with the company AND she's been offered her own office. Companies don't typically offer offices to people who are just volunteering their time. And the CEO or whoever hired her at Ungaro said she's getting paid handsomely for her services (there was an article about it). Also, I don't think we're ever going to see "proof" of a contract. No one is going to scan a PDF file.

As for the Kitson news, that doesn't confirm anything about her trying to take tons of freebies, which was the whole "shocking" story. Plus, candids of her leaving the event were posted on ONTD and she isn't carrying a goodie bag or anything like that. Kitson just basically called her out for not giving the store publicity. And honestly, if she was photographed doing a publicity stunt, everyone in this thread would be all, "God, Lindsay, wtf are you doing, shouldn't you be working on your film career?"

Although if I were Kitson, I'd be pissed that I spent $50,000 on ugly leggings. Although it was reported they sold out so it can't have been too bad for business.

If we're going to talk about the credibility of Fox News, how about the fact that they had to apologize TWICE recently for misleading viewers by using incorrect footage. There's a reason their nickname is Faux News.

I'm sure the tabloids get stuff right about Lindsay eventually, but most of the time it's wrong and ridiculously so. Like stealing jewelry from the Elle photo shoot.
