wow i love the effects. i hardly look at the clothes, just see color and the bags! is it me or are they in better focus?

The negative effect is pissing me off. I feel like my laptop screen is at a wrong angle but its actually just the photo.

^ me too! But it didnt change so I just gave up and accepted the crappiness of the effect.

love the colorizing effects!!! it's great. the colors are what makes the ad likable. :D

I'm starting to hate the photoshop  Sometimes it's too much, it looks plastic. That's not beauty for me. :yuk:

You're right about the bags being in better focus. :P
I think it's only better in focus because they are the least photoshopped parts.

Do you guys realize that the ads somehow camouflage/conceal the clothes and even Madonna, but push forward solely the bags? The only thing you can see clearly in these frames are the perfectly-lit bags which have been carefully protected from the photoshop filters, neon negatives and/or dark shadows.

I have noticed this as well. It seems the focus is more on the bags, than the clothes.
After seeing them all together I have mixed feelings. I think they should look better in print.

The single page ads have the potential to look just okay in print.

the more i see the ads the more i don't understand it.

They are lame, but guess what: these ads are doing precisely what they were set out to do. And that is to make people talk like everything else Madonna does in her life. It is always about debate and spectacle, no matter how crappy the final work is... that is the story of her life and career really. The ads are and will be recognizable in print.

That is a positive thing given the fact that almost every brand's ads look eerily similar right now.

I like it even though it's Madonna and photoshopped to death.

Hope this is better in print! But still boring!

This is atrocious!
You cannot feel the badas$ Barbie doll vibe...everything looks so insipid and plain, and way too photoshopped and airbrushed for my likes
I was also expecting some fierce shot of the shoes...
