I can't imagine Adina not showing up at Prada. Aren't exclusives sometimes different in Milan though? At least for some. Some of these girls may be on the type that allows them to do shows in the same city after their 'exclusive' show.

Where has Abbey been? Exclusive?

But I at least expected to see some of them work the Milan runways. Sara killed it in London, and Lovisa had a great start in NYC, so their absence is kind of surprising...

perhaps it's an indication of a Milan exclusive?

I can't recall Prada ever repeating exclusives like that. But then again, they don't normally present ten exclusives (or however many there were last season) either. So who knows.

Slightly OT for this thread, but where's Elsa Sylvan? I doubt she has an exclusive, so just MIA for some other reason.

^That was my first thought as well Olga. I can't for the life of me remember repeated exclusives with Prada, or why an agent would even want that...

I'm really surprised though to see Sara absent from Milan altogether. Perhaps she's with Abbey at Gucci? I'm not sure what this all means, but I gather that we'll all figure it out soon enough.

I keep going over lists and lists thinking about who was the most impressive and most memorable of the new girls this season. There certainly seems to be a shift this where a lot of more established girls are being super selective in their show, leaving quite a few openings. Anyhow, here's what I'm feeling at the moment, but I'm sure this will change by the time Paris comes around.

Like I said, this is all highly subject to change at this point. Moreover, it's subject to whether or not Kamila and Karmen really count as newcomers, which is an equally sticky situation.

I can definitely see Abbey, Georgina ( ), Diana, Natalia, Alice and Anna to the top 10 list. What about Alana Kuznetsova? She's still quite low profile, but maybe she'll do more in Paris.

^She was supposed to be on my list somewhere. I forgot... I hope for the best where Alana is concerned, but Anna Gushina seems to be pulling so far away from that pack, that I'm unsure if her or Daria Strokous can catch up.

she's in paris vogue shot by sorrenti in the newest issue just a few pics but they are super gorgeous! hope that will help her in paris.

jourdan dunn should be in the list now I guess.

^I'm trying to phrase this as politely as possible because I actually really like Jourdan, and I don't want to seem insensitive. However, if she was included as a newcomer this season, it would be a smack in the face to girls like Daiane Conterato and Olga Sherer who were not deemed new enough during their breakout seasons. Not to mention that the decision to bend the guidelines for Jourdan would look like a really big cop out... I certainly think Jourdan is having her breakthrough season, but it's also her third.

In other news, Diana Farkhullina makes her appearence on MDC's Top 10 Newcomers list...

When Diana F surfaced in several key couture shows, the anticipation level for her New York appearances . Interestingly enough Diana F, was only glimpsed in NY for the Calvin Klein. That selective run continued in Milan where Diana walked for Jil Sander among her crop of bookings. This now leaves Paris, the city that started the spark via those FW 08 Coutures. Expect her to be a kind of homecoming queen.
