Project Runway Season Four

If Christian and Chris removed the ugly fan tumor growing from their dress it would have been better.

You're right dior_couture1245, their rtw outfit was so YSL and when Nina was commenting on how it could be a cover try, I was thinking...you probably shot it for the cover already

I didn't watch the episodes so I'm only going by the pictures here, but I loved Christian/Chris's AG dress. I don't care if it is or isn't 'inspired' by something else on the runway, I think most of the stuff on the runway is 'inspired' by prior work anyway. But the dress looked really great.

I just watched the rerun, and I really fell in love with Victorya and Jillian's trenchcoat this time around...what a look! It probably doesn't photograph as well as the organza dress, though :/

I did think that Jillian and Victorya did a beautiful job.... I thought their design was newer much different than stuff you normally see.

Although I did think Christian and Chris made something beautiful it seemed very much done before.

^ There was a little PR promotion booklet in my Elle this month that said something like....
Ricky cried b/c he's happy....
Ricky cried b/c he was poor....
Ricky is probably crying right now somewhere!!!

HA HA HA HA ah..... Bwah HA HA HA HA HA HA *tears*:rofl::rofl:

Christian's delusion and arrogance never fail to bring the lols. He has no theory of color at all which is why his palette is consistently predictable and trite. Chris is so adorable, though...

Rami's last two looks have been lukewarm @ best. His color choices have also been dodgy, esp. last week's choice of murky green.

Jillian is the most well-rounded, imo. I am still desperately seeking Victorya's p.o.v. I fail to see any continuity in her work, rly. :ermm:

I imagine that Ricky will go into cardiac arrest brought on by excessive amounts of crying and hyperventilating once he is inevitably eliminated.

I was just going to bring up that point. Without seeing it on tv, I really don't think that trenchcoat is THAT amazing?! But I like both Jilliand and Victorya, so I'm glad people are liking their design and I can't wait to see the episode.

I think that Rami/ Sweet P's avant garde and Chris/ Christian's couture look like a marriage of that McQueen SS 03 gown with the corset out and all

Forgot to add - Sweet P's dress, as commercial as it was, was absolutely adorable. Surprisingly well-made, too.

Actually Sweet P's dress was nearly identical (I thought) to a runway dress I remember seeing. Even down to the coloring. If I only I could remember the designer :(

I really like the shirt and jodphurs from Jillians and Victoria's collection and the only thing that impressed me about about Christians and Chris' collection is how fast they sewed the damn dress.

don't read if you haven't seen tonight's episode...

i do not understand how people like Ricky and Sweet Pea, who are borderline terrible every week, are continually chosen to stay while Kit is ignored the entire time and is sent home the instant she makes a mistake. the judges have bad taste.

once again, Christian is praised for copying a million other designs. the dress Marcia was wearing was like, the epitome of a standard couture dress. blablahblah.

i'm so disappointed right now.

I COMPLETELY agree! What happened to Kit is sort of what happened to Allison last season: she did consistently well & then with her first mistake she was kicked off. I didn't want Rami to go home, of course, but I just think it's ridiculous that Christian (whose looks are always the same), Chris (sorry, just not a good designer), & Ricky (need I say anything?) are still there! UGH.

^I was thinking the same thing, about the whole Alison thing. Alison showed so much promise and she screwed up once and got kicked off. I really hope she is still designing because I would love to own one of her pieces. and Kit :( I really had high hopes for her

I want Victorya gone... not because she's a bad designer per se, but because she seems to have a real attitude problem. :innocent:

I also find Victorya to be very irritating.

Why couldn't she just let Jillian be the team leader for the last challenge? She had immunity already, so it's not like she would get kicked out. Granted, the trench coat was brilliant, but I am sick of her "me-first" attitude.

I also find Victorya to be very irritating.

Did anyone notice in last week's episode (not last night's), when Sweet Pea put her arm around Victorya and then Victorya grabbed Sweet peas arm and pushed it off her?

Ricky really should have gone last night. And, I agree about the comparison of Kit to Allison.

those outfits are FAR from avant-garde. i feel bad for kit's departure though

victorya's and jillian's first piece was actually gorgeous, but their ready-to-wear outfit was a mess.

nina garcia was right: rami is kinda a one-note. he does good draping, but that's it. and i thought sweet p's ready-to-wear outfit was well done!

christian to me is also a one-note. he does those jackets that although have great detailing, it's all one similar version after another.

ricki's ready-to-wear was garbage. was it just me, or did he not cry this episode...

victorya is a , how should i say, well it starts with a c and ends with a t. very unpleasant person, and can't work well with people at all. i hate her. i want to smack her, and all those faces she makes. ugh. her designs are fine though, but her attitude isn't helping her design appeal.
I think christian and chris' outfit won because their outfit was most NOW, we would totally see that in the magazines, i guess their outfit worked more for elle than the equestrian thing?...i was in AWE of that look when that model worked it though... love it!
i think rami should step outside of himself and design with a clearer perspective on what works and what doesn't. he's talented, but once he's set on an idea? is he stubborn ?
i want christian, jillian, and chris to be in the top 3.

I can't stand how these judges can't notice when people are copying garments by such famous designers. Also like others have said, how they notoriously boot the quiet people on their first mistake but let the more overt personalities stay.
