I'm annoyed with April-I really wanted her to go to FW. Tim told her not to use black-she even said she wasn't going to and what does she do? Use black.

I must be the only one that's not crazy about Mondo's. I'm not saying I think he's a bad designer, it's just that this whole print and colour clashing thing really doesn't appeal to me.

But he's clearly going to win.

I think Michael Castello will need a couple of years of therapy to get over being eliminated right before fashion week. Has there been any other designer in the past seasons that has taken it that hard? I'm mean, I felt really bad for the guy. But it was his time. His collection was just... evening wear in cooper. Poor guy.

I think this might be the one time I actually like the hour and a half format. We finally get to see those crucial minutes of what the designers are thinking as they get in and that one designer who gets out.

As far as their collections go, I was quite bored. Mondo's collection is almost all black and white. Really Polka dots? I haven't seen much of Andy's collection. That bathing suit was horrid. And Gretchen's is almost too mother earth zen type.

can't believe we have to wait after the reunion episode to see who wins. bleh!

The final 4's collection were very lackluster and im sorry but Michael C has proven himself time and time again and to hear you guys complain that April who was complete GARBAGE, got kicked off is insane to me. I thought the judges made the right decision to kick Mike out at the end becuase even though he's talented he doesn't believe in himself enough to bring out his best and/or express his design sensibility. Grechen's clothes belong at UrbanOutfitter and should cost not more then 90 bucks i found no relevance to anything she created. Andy's im very unsure about, his collection looked very doubty. Mondo might be the victor here and it might be by default.

I don't understand this. Michael should have had a spot in the final when he clearly won last weeks challagne. I really hate when they do this whole pick 3 looks to show us. It's like they had made up in their mind who they wanted in the final, but since Michael was the best last week, they needed another week to try to get rid of him.

Mondo is obviously winning.
Andy is so annoying to me and while I liked the top part of his green dress, the looks looked cheap and overworked to me.

Gretchen... I just don't get it. Although I will say when Tim visited her, I saw a greenish looking blazer on the rack that I thought looked cool. But come on. "bom chicka wah wah"

Well after tonights episode, I went and found the Project Runway S/S11 thread and there is a link posted by MyNameIs that has all the collections all the designers who participated in fashion week.

I have made my choice for winner. lol

just viewed everyones collections and yea Mondo is the CLEAR winner and Mike C's collection was 10x better than Grech or Andy's
Wow this season was filled with terrible designers, they really dodged a bullet by getting out Casanova because his collection unbelievably hideous and over worked

Last week was 5, so if he won last week, it would be final 4. They stop giving out immunity after it gets to like final 6 or so?

I'm not impressed with Gretchen's collection in tonight's episode, but in looking at her collection at Lincoln Center, it is obvious she heeded the judges' advice, particularly Heidi's.

Mondo is probably going to win, but as others have stated, he uses basically the same pattern. Mondo doesn't design clothes I would wear, but he's quite unique and I think that's what makes a winner.

Michael C's departure was so embarrassing for him. No dignity in it all. He's a grown man and acting like a teenager who is afraid to tell his parents he failed to make the cut on the football team.

By the way, MC is fine. He and Mondo are still good friends and just recently hosted a viewing for one of the episodes.

His colleccion looks like Zac Posen meets Marchesa.
I don't love any collection but i have to see it well, the winner is obvius.

It's because they didn't want to spoil who the finalists are. Due to the airing schedule, when the collections were shown at NYFW, ten (I believe) designers were still in the competition so they had them all show collections, seven as decoys and three actual finalists.

This is why they made the show an hour and a half long, and the finale 2 hours long. we got to see nina garcia and michael kors DUKE IT OUT against heidi klum and jessica simpson. need i say more?

I knew Andy was going to be out first. I did not know it was going to be that close between Mondo and Gretchen. I favored Gretchens collection over Mondos. The is a difference between looking at runway pictures from september, and looking at the filmed version of the show. Gretchen really brought those clothes to life. I do think Mondo went a tad bit overboard. It got too crazy. If he had just toned it a tiny bit down, he would have won. Not everyone is going to like his collection. He did make some nice pieces though.

It was obvious Heidi is in love with Mondo. And if this was ANTM, and Heidi was Tyra, Mondo would have been announced winner during castings. But this is not ANTM, and Heidi doesn't always get her way.

I think the chose the right winner.

I don't usually care for reality show reunions, but this was one season that needed to have like a 2 hour reunion! All I got was a look at how the final 3 made it.

And did Ivy and April really call Gretchen fake? Their delusional.

^^ April showed a venom towards Gretchen that I didn't see throughout the season. Strange. I think she feels Gretchen took her place as 4th runner-up and that had the judges chosen her (April), she had a chance of being the winner. That's the only thing I could come up with.

If you recall, April and Gretchen were very friendly. When the judges asked the contestants who they would like to see make it to fashion week, April chose Gretchen.

Ivy is Ivy. What can anyone really say about such a hateful person.

Great judging, and I definitely agree. Gretchen's clothes looked better in action, and she definitely styled it well.

I wasn't particularly impressed with either, but it wasn't bad. I mean, it's hard to put on a good collection when you can only show 10 pieces, but overall, I'm fine with Gretchen winning and don't think Mondo was robbed, like almost everyone is saying.
