Project Runway Season Four

i absolutely hate this season. But I must admit I am attracted to Christians designs every time, even though I hate him.
I liked his line at Bryant and I hope he wins.

Jillian should have won that challenge!

And you know the judges complain about Rami and his draping then Chris with his theatrics, but they dont say anything about Christian always making a jacket with skinny pants. Even though his outfit was bolder and had more pieces this challenge, I felt like it was nothing new from him

I liked Sweet Pea but she didn't have the goods to make it all the way...the competition is defintiely between Jillian and Christian at this point.

Although Rami's last collection wasn't so bad.

I LOVED the challenge so very much. Wish I could say the same about the results.

Jillian's jacket was fantastic, and it totally captured the look of the painting she chose. The gold disco dress underneath...not so much.

I think Chris's was beautiful, but as the judges said, the collar was too similar to his avant garde piece. I think that he should've done the entire dress in the fabric he used on the collar, it would've looked more finished.

Rami. Well, it was so predictable. I have absolutely no problem with the whole classical draping thing, it's something I'm inspired by all the time, but his use of it is what makes it predictable. The transition from the statue to the dress required no actual thought, and that's what bothered me.

Sweet P's look didn't register peacock at all. I just didn't get it.

Christian's was just the same old look that he's been doing all season long just with a different inspiration behind it. And without the jacket on that blouse looked like a lump of whipped cream or something. He takes no real risks, has no real ideas and isn't at all avant garde. Since when are skinny pants and puff sleeved jackets avant garde? Women already wear those pieces, and have been for years now, so what's with all of the praise. I was pissed that he won the competition, it wasn't deserved. Are the judges really that foolish?

That jckt. was exquisitely constructed...
Though she should have opted for a def. fabric for the dress...
Christian is so bleh...
He is even more predictable than Rami...
Rami's dress looked rather Bebe, imho..
And Sweet P - bless her unfaltering spirit - is so clueless @ times...
Her exit was rather heartfelt, though...

This challenge was so amazing and soooo freeing but the designers chose to do the most obvious, overplayed designs. Grecian dress by Rami, high-collared black jacket by Jillian, black jacket and black pants by Christian, huge shoulder poofy thing by Chris and short dress by Sweet P.

The whole lot of them couldn't muster any creativity. They are just so UGH

Please take me back to when Austin Scarlett made corn husk dresses. This group was given so many opportunities to succeed and they produced predictable crap.

I'm lost. How did Sweet P get to show her collection at the Park? I think I missed something. The last episode I saw, she was eliminated and The Drag Queen and Grecian Guy had a tie????

further more, i'm at a loss as why elisa and vyctoria have a show? is it anything to do with project runway?
i know sweet p does because it's on elle.com I CAN NOT BELIEVE she made it that far! that is not right.
i always thought jillian or christian would win.
jillian's style is what girls want right now in reality while being fashion and christian is good at fantasy and being fashion.

^All the contestants that are still on the show in the episode before the Feb. 8th Bryant Park runway get to show their collections to the audience/press there -- Sweet P's just won't be televised (And I assume whoever loses between Rami and Chris won't, either). PR has done this every season (e.g. Austin showed at Bryant in season one) so no one can figure out who is actually in contention for the title. The only exception was last season, since they did let all four of the designers show their final collections for actual broadcast/competition (Usually one would've been a decoy).

I believe Elisa and Victoriya's shows were separate from anything related to PR (Besides the show getting their names out there), but I could be wrong

thanks faith. i had no idea about that and i watch all of the episodes.
i just saw the collections on newsday and i def still like jillian to wear but wow christian is talented. even the way the full collection walked out at the end from black to yellow was very smart.
i hope i can design like that someday!

No problem I think it's a bit overcompensating, but whatever works for the producers of the show... And of course it lessens the disappointment for the designer "eliminated" just before the finale!

I find my intrest with this season falling at the end.
I was excited when I heard the challenge....
but when I saw what each contestent was doing, same old- same old....
I didn't finish the ep....
and that is a first for me!

i don't know how I feel about the tie. I don't see how Chris could win out of the tie with that awful collection he showed up with for NY FW.

But, then again... I don't seem to know anything about the judges rational as I think Christian is a one-trick, emulating, obnoxious...ahh, never mind
