Project Runway Season Four

I caught a rerun and burst out laughing when Tiki called Kevin's design avant garde......:innocent:
How is a pair of slacks, a shirt and a vest avante garde?... Just b/c the shirt is purple?.

i'm asian and found it quite funny when christian saw tiki's wife and said, "asian women are fierce".

Oh good. I am glad that you found it funny because I snorted with laughter when he said it and then I felt bad because it could be misconstrued as racist. But it was funny. He said "Asians are fierce"

yellow- yeah, you're right- he said "asians are fierce". i guess some ppl could take offense, but christian just cracks me up! it was how he said it. there was no racist intent. he has to stay, because he adds so much comic relief and just makes it that much more entertaining.

LOL omg, i love love love project runway. it's so addicting!
christian's really amusing, definitely one of those contestants who's fun to keep around for the drama.

Totally, he is so funny. He is not going anywhere for a while because he is a good sewer. I am dying to see who is the next to go. I knew Carmen was going to leave early because they were showing the previews for the entire season she was barely there.

i saw the bitten dress and vest in the steve and barry's store in NYC. they looked AWFUL.

the dress literally looked like a sack.

I saw it on ebay and it does look a bit like a sack:

Oh I know! :yuk: They have it hanging in the front of the Steve and Barry's (and in the window!) at my local mall and it looks totally terrible. Might I add that, this coming from someone living in a very small city, there were still plenty left... :innocent:

what a shame about victorya's dress! i was really excited about it, but now with so many poor reports i'm not so sure.:( i guess, i will still go to check it out myself this weekend.

I really loved the concept behind tonight's episode, and now I find myself really adoring Kit, Jillian, Kevin, and Rami as well

But Victorya...:ninja:

Aww. :(
>Ricky should have gone home. His designs have been so boring and poorly constructed, I don't understand how he has lasted this long.

Chris' departure was definitely premature :( But I would've given Ricky a break, too...

I'm so sick of Ricky, he's such a whiney little b*tch. I was definitely hoping he would go rather than Chris.

That s**t he said when Jack traded models with him about his true colors I was like dude, you took that girl from Elisa last week so stuff it.

To top that off, his stuff sucks!

The challenge tonight seemed like it could be fun but very challenging. Those trends were horrendous.

Elisa has slowly been impressing me, she's really broken out of her earth-mother, sculpter shell and done two extremely cute, but different pieces.

And Donna Karan judging, I would've pissed myself partly out of excitement, partly out of total intimidation.

so sad to see youknowwho go. although his clothes never wowed me, something about him really pulled at my heartstrings. big gay teddy bear!
i'm beginning to like Elisa as well. sometimes i think her visions are plain outrageous, but the dress she created for tonight's challenge was cute and smart. her humble personality is refreshing too. i'm beginning to get annoyed by Christian. :ninja:

^ It took that long? I've moved past my hatred of that little gay elf at this point, though I'm sure it'll resurface.

The challenge was so cool! I loved the concept.

HOWEVER....I did not like the idea of doing it in group, I would have liked it much better if each designer had do do their own reinterpretation of the outdated trend they picked. And none of the designs were memorable...

And youknowwho should not have gone. Sure his jacket wasn't spectacular...really not spectacular...but his dress underneath was so clean and so sophisticated, very Calvin Klein (in a really good way). The crybabyidiot should have gone. Hasn't he been in botton 2 every week?!?!? I'm beginning to doubt he can actually sew, because everything he sends down the runway is in pins and has puckering seams.

what I hate about project runway is that they dont take consistency into consideration when auf-ing contestents. For example, Alison Kelly (yes i will never let that go) had consistently great designs and the challenge she got kicked off for was just one bad one. And if Im not mistaken I think she was up against Vincent for going home. VINCENT!! who was consistently BAD. Similarly Ricky, in my opinion, didnt have a single good outfit whereas Chris, I think, did do well previously. So in conclusion I think when there's a choice between two very bad challenge desings they should kick off the one who has been consistently sucking. I mean not everyone can be on all the time. Even top designers have had one or two terrible outfits in their day.

^KARMA!! you speak the truth! but then again, it is a reality show
