Project Runway Season Four

Oh my gosh I know. At first I felt bad for her, but then when she was like "Thanks Heidi" all pissy, I was like...watch it girl, that is Heidi Klum! Check your ego.

When she said that she was hurt by comments made about her, I was expecting something much worse then what she was crying about. I was like this b*tch is nutty. I mean these people don't know you, so why would they miss you? And, HELL Yeah, they are glad that it was you and not them. Sad to say. As for the "thanks Heidi" comment(If it was made that way, we all know how editing can make things look different then they are), Carmen Heidi wasn't lying your outfit did have a shirt missing. HELLO! Seriously.

Project Runway Rundown: Episode 12, "Reunion"

What's not to love about last night's Project Runway reunion special? We got to see contestants like Marion and Simone again (can you even remember these two?), there were hilarious video recaps and outtakes, and best of all, we got to see the contestants' new haircuts (or, in Ricky's case, a new hat). There's even the $10,000 fan favorite prize, which as of last night, you all were torn between Christian and Chris for the most deserving.

But with all of the fun, last night took a somber tone too. Jack's departure from the show due to health concerns was a focus, and it seemed that he made the right choice to leave as he subsequently spent five days in the hospital. The other designers commented on how that affected them. Christian was sad to see him go, and Victorya was upset/angry. She didn't dive into her emotions, but it seemed as if she was biting her tongue about something. The silver lining would be if Jack returns for season five, but we'll just have to wait and see.
To hear more about the reunion special, including my favorite videos of the night and who took home the fan favorite prize, read more.
The thing I liked most about the reunion special was definitely the video recaps. Each video focused on a designer and highlighted his or her specific schtick. The best:
  • Elisa: Elisa truly is from another planet, and this video proved it. What with spitting on fabric, talking about her creations as if they were either piñatas or couture dresses, and writing backwards, this girl certainly is cuckoo. My favorite moment was when Chris said "keep your brainwaves off me." Love it.
  • Ricky: Oh, the crying. I could have seen this one coming, but what I didn't expect were some of Ricky's quotes. "I'm an emotional person, yes, but I don't cry all that much," and "I'm very emotional, but I can control it." Um, really, Ricky? Regardless, the genius lied in the editing: These quotes were followed by countless crying scenes.
  • Chris: From crying to laughing. Chris's video was all about his laugh. As Kevin called it, it's a very "hyena-cackle" laugh. I could sympathize with the designers who thought it was cute at first, but progressively more painful as the days pressed on. The funniest moment of this montage was when Chris laughed loudly inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It was as if he was screaming in a library.
  • Michael Kors: Chris's laughter video was cute, but the Michael Kors laughing fit was hysterical. For a judge who's usually so reserved and poker faced on the runway, he really lost it during the wrestling competition. Michael just couldn't handle it when Ricky's model did a sexy move at the end of the runway. From there he couldn't stop laughing. As Kit said, it was like a kid in church. I loved how the Heatherette designers' faces seemed to say, "What's going on over there, Mr. Kors?"
  • Christian: And what would a reunion special be without an homage to Christian and his fierceness? Seriously how many times does this boy say fierce throughout the day? I especially loved how all of the designers made fun of him. I haven't seen Jillian more lively than when she was emulating Christian. But more fierce than anything was Christian describing his hairstyle in three parts: party, business, and money-maker. Amazing.
And in the end, Mr. Fierce himself took home the prize for fan favorite and received the $10,000 check.

Marion and Simone again (can you even remember these two?)

I had honestly forgot all about Simone.

Marion I remember b/c of the terrible look that got him booted.

were Rami and Chris extra touchy feely or what? :shifty:

and Carmen is clearly REALLY sensitive about what people think about her. It was kinda insensitive of Heidi to single carmen's design out. I could see how that would burn esp. since it was the challenge that sent her home.
I really really want to know the backstory behind Victoria's attitude. Again, Heidi throwing zingers when she said, "I always found Victoria a little uptight. Or was it just me?" Granted she was uptight, but singled out and on national television...what was that about?

oh and I was so shocked that Christian won fan fav. I thought it would be Chris or Sweet P or someone.

^Agreed

Just watched a rerun of the episode again...and that clip of Michael Kors laughing is truly the highlight/a classic moment  The best part was how even the Heatherette designers were looking at him like he was going insane  Richie Rich looked so caught off-guard!

I think Rami is a chubby chaser.

  It reminds me of that Tyra episode with the guy from "True Life".

Anyway, the Christian montage made me want to gag. But Chris' laugh is too cute.

I also have to observe, damn, Jillian can do quite the spin kick!

^ I know. I was very impressed. That super hero montage was very cute.

That was about ratings is my guess.
Bravo's reality reunion specials have been extra catty lately, IMO.

Agree totally... Carmen is so self-important and definitely doesn't have the talent to back it up. She wasn't cut short of any opportunity, she straight up failed due to her own incompetence.

The finale is March 5
Next week's episode is when we find out who will join Christian and Julian at fashion week. I really hope it will be Rami

EDIT: Final four on Regis and Kelly

Seriously. I liked her and I was sad to her go but after seeing her reaction on the reunion show I was like good riddance.

lmao Christian said he is happz about the winner, so i am sure he won

yeah, carmen was def forgettable but she seems full of hate and reacted the wrong way. i'd be upset too if i were her, but in this case, you have to just keep your head up and not be so effected.
i don't think heidi realized it was carmen's menswear that had no shirt. i think she just thought it was relavent how it sucked.
ALSO can someone tell me if Carmen was part of that trio of girls who designed the line Sisters of Harlem??? I am almost 100% sure she was one of them!

Yes, she's one of them.
