The Model Agency Mega Thread

Wilma Wakker is retiring and will be closing her eponymous agency, which discovered many of The Netherlands’s most successful model. Models such as Bette Franke, Kim Noorda and Sophie Vlaming were still on the agencies books; I wonder where they’ll go…

Paul Rowland just announced that he’s back with Ford. I’m very intrigued by this!
If Paul is planning on bringing these big agents over to Ford with him, does Ford really have the $$$ to pay their huge salaries? Who knows lmao

Is there any update about Paul Rowlands return to the modeling industry? I saw on his instagram he was heading to NYC....and with the current stirrup going on at Ford NYC...and interesting topgirls from Next switching to Ford...can we anticipate a resurface and reign of Rowland back at Ford NYC?

Their new face board's got that Paul Rowland feeling indeed, in the visual choices, how the models are introduced etc.

As for NY as someone asked slightly earlier, no clue but think he was there according to his Instagram account. He also visited Russell Marsh recently haha.

He's a biiiit pompous, however I do agree with a lot of what he said here tbh.
Yes, a tiny lil bit pompous, but I don't really mind. What sounded more pompous to me was MDC's introduction of Paul as a "starmaker". He is for sure the undefeated king of aesthetic shifts to date (beware, competition is in the starting blocks!) but starmaker is bit far from reality, as much as I've been in love/inspired by his work. Imagemaker would have sounded way better and more accurate. This said, had an eye on Ford Spain weeks before this article was released and must say the Rowland touch is still alive. And updated, which is even better.

Did Kwok leave Ford again? His Instragram account says: Former Global Director of Scouting and Development @fordmodels and @marilynagencyny

Byeee I am so done lmao. Neon Coat has opened their own agency in NYC - EON Management.

Like, please.

Kwok, formerly at Ford and Society, now at The Lions.
Alright. Didn't even keep track of his steps at Ford and Society... I guess I got lost years ago when he was still at.. Marilyn NY, right?

I'm sure career opportunities and the thrill of some new venture -or whatever- are good reasons for both models and agents to relentlessly jump from one agency to the other. But seems this merry-go-round makes me feel pretty dizzy at the end of the day.

Monster has also opened up a new branch in Paris.

Because there aren't enough agencies already feeding false dreams to young women who really don't have a future in the business.
