I was about to say, after seeing Karlie Kloss editorial (amazing by the way) that she IS the new Gisele/Caroline Trentini/Anna Wintour's favorite model and also Joan Small's vogue gal pal, since both of them have been dominating covers and editorials of several magazines and covers in the past months (thanks to W's great duo covers I just made my case lol) BUT THEN I got so excited and glad to see posted in the next post Caroline, Joan and Liu who represent to the last bone (lol) what a Vogue model is: tall, beautiful, athletic and with a great personality and a great walk and all of those girls have that in common. So for me, both editorials work really well. I loooooove when Vogue uses wigs in this way with such sleek clothes and super cool models so Karlie won me over with this (such a great mover this girl!) Then I'm not fond of the clothes on Joan, Liu and Caroline but gosh how cool do they look and such a great move to put them altogether!

Now, the picture with Karlie, Liu, Arizona and Joan is like ICONIC. I dreamt (seriously) to see this pic happen for a looooooong time and thought it would never, well, now it did! How amazing to put those 4 great top models together in one shot!!!! It would have been better to see Steven Meisel or Patrick Demarchelier shot this but Norman did a good job!

I hope the next pics will be as gorgeous and exciting as those ones So far Anna put the bar very high for the 120th anniversary, and gosh she did a good job!

Aside from the horrendous cover, I'm so excited to see the issue on the stands, almost threatening to smash the shelves under the immense pressure from a few copies.

But for a 120th anniversary issue, I think the editorial content seems fitting for a regular month of American Vogue. The edits fail to feel commemorative, except from the recurring faces of the models. Although I'm certain within 916 pages, I'll stumble across a few hidden treasures, once it lands on British shores.

i can say that i'm SOOOOO excited to buy this issue!

the video of the Gaga shoot was just sooo awesome! she looks so happy and comfortable. she's full of joy. i can't understand anybody who thinks there's something disingenuous about Gaga. she is as she says she is, of that i'm sure.

reeeally love Karlie's editorial, as well. most excited for Natalia's -- though i worry it'll be too similar to her other story-driven US Vogue edits.
