W September 2006 : Christina Ricci by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott

Christina's World: Louise Brooks inspired, divine. I have no criticisms.

As for Natalia's editorial; it reminds me of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and candy in general, very sweet, I love it.

And Kate? Yes, she's wondrous.

Thank you to all who scanned.

OriginalSin, here is the rest of Natalia's edit.
Apologies, I've been MIA these past few days.

Christina's edit has her doing the "head tilted back" pose in three of the pictures

Will somebody explain those GROSS pictures of all the former supermodels????
:yuk: Those were about the worst photos ive ever seen in a magazine...
I cant decide which was the worse one....
Naomie's "deer-caught-in-the-headlights" shot! ?.......... or
her "umm I can see ur ----" shot..??

In all of Stephanie's pictures she looks like an old witch(?? How could you make Stephanie look ugly? I thought it was impossible!)

Cindy's pictures.... Are you sure that's not a man?

.......... I was so excited to see these set of pictures too !

I really enjoyed the kate moss, bruce weber spread....it was very unexpectedly well done...

i think that juergen teller's editorial wasnt that impressive at ALL

Natalia had that similar hair-cut except in red for her Vogue Sept Edit. :D

i posted in a few posts ago .it's so strage, isnt it? magazines really lack any individuality someties. bet anna's not so happy about that !

Question. If you suscribe to W, is there a catalogue with Stam in it? ARound 30 pages? Curious. :D

Natalia's ed could have been so much better on nicer paper.

^ i agree. and i hate that there is always some kind of blemish or blot on one of my spreads!

This issue was by far my favourite of all the September issues and it is ten times better that what Vogue has to offer this month!! imo ;) Every article is interesting and well written and to the point. I hate Vogue's long winded articles that are more about the prose than the actual subject. The editorials in W are gorgeous (despite the supermodel parody) and for a celeb Christina did an excellent job with her editorial - it is stunning!!

Awesome job W

On another note, I agree that these fabulous editorials would look so much better on glossy paper but I guess because W has such a large format it has to compromise on the quality of paper.
