Who will sweep up at the S/S 2012 shows?

Ha! I have to say I called Julia being #1 by the end from day one of New York Fashion Week  Congrats to her and everyone else!

If you're still looking at 50+ seasons, I believe Liu Wen did 51 (Skipping London). There're probably at least a few with 51 or 52 (At least usually there are) as well.

you can't compare nyc to london fashion week..It is simply impossible..i love london but nyc fw generally includes more renowned designers like calvin klein, jacobs, oscar de la renta, ralph, herrera etc. -_-

The city debate could go on forever so let's just pause right there before things get too off-topic ;)

All in all we will be counting all four capitals in the overall count, but maybe a supplementary countdown for just NY-Milan-Paris as well.

Sorry, wasn't looking to start a city debate.

I guess what I wanted to say was that the shows Julia walked in London are hardly ones to be dismissed IMO.

Acne
Antonio Berardi
Burberry Prorsum
Christopher Kane
Giles
Jaeger London
Jonathan Saunders
Richard Nicoll
Topshop Unique
There are shows in London with far greater casting worth, than some shows in NY for example (that would be counted only because they are in NY).
Kane vs Rad?

Basically every city has it's group of mediocre shows, even Milan and Paris. So if shows are culled from a list, it should be based on quality, not location.

Julia Nobis: 73 shows! She's the Top Catwalker of the season

Even if Julia did more shows than anybody else, I think Aymeline's showlist is more selective and she opened more shows..

I swear I'm not just saying this, and I like her, but I barely noticed Julia this season -- she must not have stood out much at any of those 73 shows

My thoughts exactly!!! I noticed her at Balenciaga, but literally nothing else. Well, good for her anyway. Maybe she will repeat the Balenciaga campaign!!
